Bro, am i the only one who likes it? I saw the comments and all are like "It's so bad" I feel like i'm the only…
I love it so much, it’s wholesome fun :). The acting is nice, I like the script. The music is phenomenal, the set design, all of it is really good already and we’re only two episodes in. Makes me excited for what’s to come :D

When you say it exceeded your expectations then we must have seen two different shows. The didn't handle it with…
I disagree, but we’re subject to our own opinions. However, because the Thai adaptation is adapting all nine volumes of the manga and not just the first volume like the jp drama, Fourth’s character should be in love by now because the pacing is slightly different. They are both their own individual works and as such should be looked at objectively and not as a comparison.

Things like script and humor is subjective, of course, but it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. I hope you’re able to enjoy later episodes, or if you’re unable to at all, maybe watch shows that better suit your taste instead of camping in this comment section :)

I have watched the Japanese version, Keita Hatsukoi, and loved it. With how much I love the jp drama, I was so excited for the Thai remake. And when I tell you it has exceeded my expectations, I’m not lying.

Two episodes in and I know the production of the show has been handled with care. The cast and crew clearly put a lot of effort into making this adaptation both faithful to the original manga and a reflection of Thai culture, and has seamlessly integrated both aspects into one show. They’ve also taken liberties to expand on certain aspects that we did not see in the jp drama, and that different angle is doing wonders for establishing this shows uniqueness, and how it’s not a simple remake, but an adaptation of the source material into its own, separate entity.

The main cast, especially Gemini and Fourth, were not given easy roles, as they had big shoes to fill by playing characters so well known and loved, but there is depth and care put into the characters that is evident from the first time we see them on screen. It’s obvious how hard they worked to make the characters appealing and honest to their original versions from the manga.

I feel that Fourth has delivered in spades, with how challenging Aoki’s character is. He has to be dramatic and reactive but not so much so that it’s hard to watch. And Gemini has to play a toned down, stone-faced character while also letting us into his internal dialogue. I feel they have both done a fantastic job handling such difficult characters so far, and look forward to what they have to deliver in the future episodes.

This show is definitely going to be one that changes the game for Thai bl romcoms, and I’m so glad I get to be on the journey with the fellow fans and the cast and crew ☺️
