Not my genre, but surprisingly good
This is a genre I would never watch let alone a Chinese drama. First ever Chinese drama I watched was Go Ahead, and I fell in love with it! And also Tan Song Yun. She's the only Chinese actress I care for, so it would make sense to watch all her dramas. I was hesitant at first, but surprisingly the pace of the drama moved really fast. No dull moments and no annoying characters that usually make me drop a drama. It's a good drama, but not one I rewatch again. For me to completely finish 30 episodes of this kind of genre is considered good enough of a drama.Was this review helpful to you?
Came for Tan Song Yun. Stayed for Liu Xue Yi
Supporting my girl Song Yun, and ended up finding a gem of a drama!! I am so blown away by the pacing, cinematography and the story. It is so good! I saw its doing very well in China, and read that a lot of men were also chasing this drama. Lol. Count me in as well. I can't believe I would become so addicted to a female centric drama. I also love the fighting scenes and the history lessons that was thrown in here. But what I love most besides Tan Son Yun, is the ML Liu Xue Yi. He is such a great actor. Finally, a Chinese actor that looks so masculine as the ML. His portrayal of Lin Jinqi was phenomenal ! I could go on and on how maazing his acting is, and from what I've seen, all the drama fans in China totally agreed! think he's the best costar I've seen paired with Song Yun, besides Allen Ren.Was this review helpful to you?
Show is good!
Storyline is good but ending was little confusing with the old man (number one) as being the previous master of the game. The storyline should of added more detail of the relationship between the current master and the cop. I don't know if the relationship are actually brothers or friends. But overall I can't wait for season two to come out. Maybe it will give me some ideas to how number one was the person who made this game. Also will the director show the same games in season two like in season one?Was this review helpful to you?
