After finishing today's episode, I have quite a bit to unpack. First off, Pai deserves better. I cannot believe…
So I agree with a lot of what you said but I don't understand why you would included North in with that crappy family. Let me break it down. 1 First & for most - North NEVER abandoned Pai like their shit family did. He was always there for him, After that crap happened at the wedding and North found out his sad excuse for a grandfather kicked Pai out of the family and treated him like that he went and stood up for Pai. He got kicked out of the family too. This is proof enough that North is 10x better than that crappy family because he actually stood up for Pai. 2 Secondly - North still had his bakery business and used that to help him and Pai to be able to get back on their feet again. They all stayed together too. ( Now if you are including North in this simply because he went back to work for his Grandpa I don't think that is fair either. He still very much loves Pai.) 3 Lastly, I need you to remember North was also scammed and lied to just like Pai. He went through it too. He didn't need to see Pai breaking down to understand it because he already seen him breaking down since he was the only in that family there for Pai and he went through it himself. Regardless of the fact he went back to work for his grandfather, he was always there for Pai and will always be there for him.
I know you commented this like 2 years ago but this is incorrect. She didn't end up with either guy. And trust me I didn't like the last episode or how it ended myself. I don't blame you for making up your own ending for it. Personally, I wish she ended up with Prince Bank but I guess that might be just me.
these two have such a very special chemistry, and they can act. I wish better, full length scripts with bigger…
I agree with most of your comment except the reason you claim she never told him about his children. I don't think she looked down on his status at all. Would it make sense for someone who looks down on some because of there status to beg her father all night in the rain to help him? to help him clear up his boxing scandel? She was more than willing to be with this man even if he was poor. If she really looked down on him because of his status, she would have never went back to him. She had guilt because of her family, and the things they did to him. Now I can't say I believe she had guilt for her own actions - disappearing on him for 6 years, not telling him she was pregnant with his children and subsequently keeping that from him pretty much the entire drama. She never apologized to him for that. This brings to the point of this drama that irritated me. The writers are stupid. They literally had him apologizing to his children for not being there for them and basically saying it was all his fault? What? The FL is the one who left. Never told him she was pregnant. Never told him about the kids. So how is he suppose to be there for children he never knew existed until she showed up again? I mean come on. She should have been the one apologizing to her children, not him! But yeah I like their chemistry and they are good actors. I just wish the writing was better.
I don't see a problem if an actor doesn't want to do Fan service. This is something no actor should be required to do. By the way, you do realize that South Korea usually doesn't do fan service right?
I personally, do not like fan service. I thnk it is a big problem. When actors do fan service it causes those crazy fans who live in their own delusions to believe that the actors are actually dating when they are not. Fan service is another form of acting. They are pretending. These fans will then get mad if one of the actors ends up in a relationship with a woman or if they make it publicly clear that they are just friends with their co-star because these fans will say they were played, dupped and that these actors lied to them when in fact that is not true, They were doing what actors do best. Acting. Playing the part.
An example of why I do not like fan service is the actors from the series Kiseki: Dear to Me, Nat Chen & Louis Chiang, who played the side couple Chen Yi & Ai Di. We probably won't ever get to see them in another BL again because of the crazy fans I mentioned. Some of them found out that Louis Chiang who played Ai Di had a girlfriend. They then started threatening her, and bullying her online to the point she try to harm herself. This is absolutely not ok. Louis defended his girlfriend on Instagram by asking these so called fans to stop and basically saying he was disgusted by what they did. He was forced to take down said post because his company apparently thought it hurt their image and cared more about these toxic fans then their own actor, and made him post an apology. I wish these companies actually cared more about their actors. This why I have a problem with Fan service. It causes things like this to happen. We must remember that these actors are just that ACTORS. They are acting, just playing a part. They are not their characters. So I do not blame Ji Ho Geum for not doing fan service at all.
As for the rest, the blurred photo you are talking about, I went to his instagram and there was no such photo. There are plenty of photos of them on his instagram and they are not blurred. The fan meetings - Again, we don't know the truth of why he missed them. I will not listen to someone on Twitter, that is your biggest problem. You listened to someone you probably don't even know personally and took every word of theirs to be truth. You nor I know why he missed the fan meetings and while I think it was sad and not necessarily a good thing at least for his fans, I do not think it right to assume he did it because he doesn't want anything to do with his co stars or that he wasn't ok doing a BL or that he is homophobic or that he is somehow a hateful person. He could have been busy with other acting commitments or thing of that nature, Actors tend to get pretty busy.
Lastly, as I said before he still has photos of himself with his fellow co-stars on his instagram and none of them are blurred. Feel free to look yourself. So clearly the part about him wanted nothing to do with the show is simply not true.
P.S. - Could you give me a link to where you claimed the director said he didn't have any chemistry with his co-star?
I don’t think I could have agreed more. This whole argument, misunderstanding could have been easily avoided.…
I want to respond to several things you've talked about in this comment as well as ones below.
1. Diews' reluctance to tell God that that trashy Dr. Pee is his ex. Diew suffered trauma because of Dr. Pee. He was bullied by Pees' friends and Pee himself. I mean, did you hear the things that trash said about Diew? That is abuse. To the point, for people who have suffered trauma because of an ex ( or even faimly member or someone else) they usually don't want to talk about it so as not to bring up the past and painful memories. They want to leave it behind and move on. So yeah Diew didn't want to talk about him and quite frankly, God didn't have the right to force that out of Diew. You don't try to force someone to tell you about their traumas.
2. The bracelet situation. You claim God reasonably jumped to the conclusion that the bracelet was from his ex. I disagree. It wasn't reasonable at all. As a matter of fact, Diew told him that the bracelet wasn't from his ex and was going to tell God who is was from until God interrupted him and said " Then which ex is it from?" Did you really expect Diew to tell him after he said that? I for one did not. I would not have continued my explanation after he showed his unwillingness to listen with that statement. God was wrong for that. Oh and by the way, that bracelet belonged to Diews father who passed away.
If we are being honest God, didn't really give Diew a chance to explain, I mean look at the bracelet incident. Diew was going to explain and God cut him off and didn't let him. That is on God. He allowed his own insecurities and anger ( I honestly think he was a bit jealous.) to ruin any chance of an explanation at that moment.
Diews' Mom. She caused him trauma also. She kept him in the house for the most part, wouldn't let him socialize with anyone. And again, did you hear the awful things she said about her own son? So Diew, not only suffered trauma because of his ex but his mother as well. I think what his Mother did is a big reason why Diew is the way he is.
Lastly, I guess I understand Diew more than you. I suffered trauma ( abuse) due to an ex so I get why he wasn't ready to talk about it. Now grant it, I have told my husband about my past traumas, however he never tried to force it out of me either. I also, would not called him immature for not wanting to talk about his past traumatic experiences. Again, some people just want to leave the past in the past and not open wounds. Just saying. And, I have a question for you, you stated that you couldn't bring yourself to dislike Diew but yet in one of your comments below you flat out say " I just don't like Diew." So which is it?
I will leave you with this, I am disappointed that it seems Diew is the only one expected to be open about his past, his past traumas and everything but people aren't giving God that same energy and excepting him to be open too. I think they BOTH should be open to each other. Which lets face it, neither one of them have been too opened with each other about their life. nor their feelings.
I have watched the last two episodes of this show and they are really good. And tiny spoiler, Diew DOES open up to God. I hope you watch the last episodes and maybe you will realize you were wrong about Diew. Good luck!
Everything is great in this series except writing of character of Vee. He is self-centered thief who doesn't correct…
I absolutely disagree with you when it comes to the Character of Vee. You call him a "Self centered thief" This is just simply not true. Yes, we know in his past he did something wrong and committed a crime. He also paid for this. Now, Vee in the present is NOT a thief. ( I mean if you want to label him as such you can but he would be a terrible thief.) He is also not selfish. He left San so San could be with fake Wad because he believed she was the real reincarnation of Wad and that what San had waiting and living for for 100 years. This is NOT selfish. It him saying I will step aside because I want you to be happy.
Let's break it down a little. When he accidentally ended up with Sans ring, did he keep it? No, he didn't. He gave it back. When he had those peoples wallet, again did he keep it? No, again he returned it. Now lets talk about the five color stone, yes he wanted to take it but he actually at one point decided against it because he fell for San and felt bad. Then, the fake Wad showed up. She emotionally blackmailed him to leave San and he already felt like he lost San because San lived for 100 years just be reunited with the reincarnation of Wad his first love. And to top it off , his beloved Grandma and only remaining relative was dying of cancer. Put yourself in shoes. Now, yes he did end up taking the stone because he wanted to save his Grandma since he felt in the moment if he lost her he would have NO ONE left. So in his hurt and pain he took it however his grandma didn't want it. He returned it and he did apologize and he felt awful about it too. This is why he left because he knew he hurt San and Sans family. I will say that I do not think it was right that he took the stone but I do understand him.
I believe Vee did make up for it and he also did show he changed. I mean, he got shot and stabbed you know? And by the way he got shot because he wanted to protect San. So he is not this bad person you are trying or want to make him out to be. ( I do realize you are clearly only a fan of Daou and not Offroad or at least that is what your comment makes it seem like. This is probably why you are so harsh on the character Vee.) Nobody is perfect. We are human and to err is human.
I think this series while maybe not perfect was good none the less. I will definitely watch it again.
I saw 2 episodes. The plot is not credible, they started "dating" suddenly without meeting each other. I didn't…
"They started "dating" suddenly without seeing each other." Uh no they are not dating. They are not in a relationship at all. Not dating. They are just friends. Maybe you got confused when God asked Diew if they could finally start seeing each other.. what he meant was NOT dating each other but seeing each other face to face as they hadn't met at that point yet. I've seen the first 3 episodes and they are just friends at this point. So the plot is actually credible.
Wow I finally caught up and how did the acting get WORSE the further we're getting in?? I don't know if Pepper…
" If it was just a cute fluffy story without the psychopaths like it was advertised."
This is simply not true. It was never advertised to be nothing but sweet and fluffy without drama or psychos . In the first trailer that came out back in May it showed that there was going to be drama & at least one psycho. It showed part of the scene where Raks ex attempts to SA him. It also showed Rak finding Mek sleeping on the couch with his best friend. So it was clear that there was going to be drama. The only thing the trailer didn't show or allude to was Raks best friend having mental health issues.
I do agree with the rest of your comment though. The drama is a bit much although I tend to expect drama & a bit of it when it comes to Thai shows. I mean I've watched quite a few thai bls and some Lakorns and they are usually heavy on the drama. I do wish however that they wouldn't drag out drama so much. Like this show. This shit with Mek and Raks ex best friend should be over now. We are at the half way point of this show already like come on. So yeah.
I would like to hope that we will start to get lots of scenes of Dino & Rak being happy but with the preview for next week it seems there is going to be more drama. At least this time it won't be Raks ex causing the drama but still.
Right now I would rate this show a 6/10 and that's only because I like Rak & Dino. Maybe it will get better. Just maybe..
When you lie to your boyfriend while arranging to go on a date with another man, you are then a liar and a cheat.…
I disagree with you and several other peoples view of this episode. I'll explain..
1. First and foremost, Tai NEVER agreed to go on a date with Lomfon. He agreed to go to dinner with Lomfon and that day to thank him for helping his brother who was stupid drunk a few episodes ago. ( This was explained in a flash back in the episode) You and anyone else calling it a date is mind blogging to me. Maybe Lomfon preceived it that way but Tai did not.
2. Again, you are assuming Tai has feelings for Lomfon when he has never shown anything towards Lomfon other than being thankful for helping his brother. It was pretty clear to me that Tai loves Phatt very much. His confusion is not about who he has feelings for at all. It was about the crap Lomfon told him about the Soulmate thing.. If he was truely confused about his feelings then he would have never said to Phatt " You know I love you very much."
You must also remember that Tai for the longest time built a wall and never wanted to get close to anyone because of his trauma due to his parents divorce. But he let Phatt in.
I also want to point out that Tai did not kiss Lomfon back. That was also clear. Just like Phatt didn't kiss his ex back. So if you are going to call him a cheater and be angry because of that then you need to use the same energy on Phatt.
3. Tia already chose Phatt. He chose Phatt when he let him break down his walls and get close to him. He chose Phatt when he decided to be intimate with him. He chose Phatt when he went to that camp even though he was uncomfortable. None of you seem to understand this.
I will say that I do not agree with Tai lying to Phatt. That was wrong. He did not lie because he wanted to cheat on Phatt like you and others seem to think. He lied because he knew Phatt did not like Lomfon and with good reason of course. So he was scared of his reaction which Phatt did prove Tai right on that.
Listen, as for people saying Tai was gaslighting Phatt he was not. He was saying "Let's talk when things are calmer." Which he is absolutely right about. It is never good to have a conversation when emotions are as high as they were in that moment. Then for Phatt to show up drunk and angry to try to get Tai to talk was even worse. Anything Tai said wouldn't have matter anyways not just because Phatt was angry but he was drunk. He wouldn't have remembered anyways. I'm telling you from personal experience, I have been with my spouse for 17 years and I do not have conversations with him when we are having issues and he is angry. It gets us nowhere.
Lastly, I do not like the fact that you are so insensitive about Tais trauma from his parents divorce. A parents divorce can be very traumatic for children and even young adults like Tai for many reasons. Again I speak from experience. My parents divorced when I was 8 years old. It was hard for me and traumatic too. Now I don't know why he has trauma or issues because of it because it hasn't really been explain a lot. I'm just saying try to be a bit more understanding.
All in all, I do think Tai was wrong for lying but I do not agree that he cheated on Phatt nor that he has feelings for Lomfon. I think more anger should be directed at Lomfon because he is selfish and a jerk for doing what he did.
Can't believe people actually like Preuk. I can't stand him at all. I am all the way for Maprang. At least she…
I know your comment is 2 years old but you are wrong about Pruek. You obviously weren't paying attention at all when you watched this series. Pruek NEVER cheated on anybody. It was Sin who is in a relationship with Prang. So I think you meant you hate Sin.. Sin is the cheater. I loved Pruek because he ended up with the upper hand in the end. He was the victim in all of this. And Sorry but I have no sympathy for Prang because she is a vile person who chose to hurt other people along with Sin simply because of their sexual orientation. Digusting.
It seems like a lot of people don't understand why Seung Jun had PTSD and what it had to do with that man from…
Seung Jun did not have PTSD because that man "cheated" on him although I can understand why some may have seen it that way. With this show you really have to pay attention to the flash backs to actually understand a bit. I would not call that man his ex either. Here is what some people seem to be failing to understand, when ( and I use this word losely) he had a "relationship" with that man he was in high school ( In one of the flash backs it shows Seung Jun in his school uniform performing and the man watching him). Also, Seung Jun himself states he was in High school when he was an Idol trainee at that mans company. That man was the CEO of the company Seung Jun was doing his Idol training at. That man was a Predator plan and simple. He had intimate relationships with and manipulated and mentally screwed up many of the young boys in his company. It was stated in the last episode that Seung Jun was not the only boy he did this too either. He was a very sick man. This is why he had PTSD and Panic disorder.
I will say I wish they handle his relationship with that piano guy better and that they dealt with how he supposedly healed from his trauma better. Also, wish the episodes were longer.
It seems like a lot of people don't understand why Seung Jun had PTSD and what it had to do with that man from his past. In my opinion, they do make it kind of clear why he is the way he is but it is all shown in the flashbacks. You have to pay close attention to the flashblacks. I will try my best to explain in my spoiler comment below.
Is it really that hard to believe that this cdrama was below average?
So I understand your confusion with the ending as I was also confused at first. It was not a dream. Shan Cai and Dao Ming Si really do get married. The sequence of events leading up to it with them acting as though the two broke up and asking her to choose someone else from F4 was them messing with her because Dao Ming Si wanted to surprise her. I think this could have been done better for sure. I hope this helped.
Is it really that hard to believe that this cdrama was below average?
Just want to try and help you understand the ending. It will be in my next comment under spoiler because I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it.
