I think Allen did pretty good about romance scene in Under the power or even One and Only. Maybe it's because of the character of modern Zhousheng Chen make romance very weird in FaE.

This version is might be good if I've never read the novel. This version change a lot of plot and storyline. So disappointing. The only thing I like about this adaptation is Ren Ying Ying, she is the same to my imagination when I read the novel.

In my opinion I don’t think so (Novel was not say obviously). Wuji’s feeling toward Zhiruo are like love and respect to our childhood friend. But for Minmin he is in love deeply. For a sincere guy like Wuji, he can’t tell the difference unless some critical events come into his life then he will realize who is his true love.
