I fully agree. I actually wish they would issue an apology since they asked to change the team etc. It's disappointing to have factions among fans when what you want to do is support the artiste & their decisions.

It is disrespectful because they have asked that the production cast be changed etc and also cast doubt on the director. It's the whole reason why Bailu has to defend the people she works with and was causing her unnecessary burden and work to have to do that. I would like to know how many of them have authority if experience in costume/make-up to push for this agenda. They don't trust her or the team so she has to come along and make a plea for people to trust her.

She's already working so hard on it, there isn't a need to stir more controversy. Haters will find any excuse even with a beautiful costume so I don't buy that the drama will flop from that.

I understand why you are defending them but I do think in this case they are in the wrong, and their worry (over the future reaction of haters...!) doesn't justify what they've done. Let's hope her relationship with the cast has not been jeopardised.

I sometimes wonder how fandoms affect a celebrity in Asia - does that bring them a reputation with any drama they join in future? I would really hate for this sort of complaining to affect her future projects if producers perceive that she & her fans brings trouble/complaints, especially if she herself does not address them....don't know if you can without offending fans! 🫥

But they are equally billed for this if I'm not wrong so he's also responsible for making sure the drama succeeds and can afford more lavish promos unlike her previous MLs. I think some like LYX can also afford promos but it isn't his style to do promos.
