I'm a biased person lol. So my ratings will not always be objective, because they're primarily based on my experience while watching the show, not just the plot and performances. Sometimes I feel like I've become more lenient over the years, but sometimes I feel like I've become more stringent - maybe it's just a mood and frame of mind thing + a binge vs ongoing show thing. 

I'm easily impressed and easily swayed by my favs... and I continue watching shows for the characters, even if there's no great plot. 

This is simply a way for me to be organised during my drama watching ( I think my notes app list wasn’t enough oops). I have my own opinions, but sometimes dramabeans, reddit, the fangirl verdict and mydramalist help in forming them lol.
