Didn't they just finished filming in September, so it's only been five months. Most costume dramas take at least 10 months to air after wrapping up filming. I'm actually surprised they're already working on the dubbing already. Hopefully, they’re not rushing it and turning it into another Douban 5.0 idol costume drama.

Looking forward to this after watching Liu Yuning in two dramas, but two things worry me: the director and the scriptwriter. Guo Huo directed the terrible Only for Love, and while I know nothing about direction, I can tell when the camera angles are bad! Even worse than the director is the scriptwriting. The Story of Kunning Palace was boring and overloaded with inner monologues. I really hope this drama doesn’t end up with the same reputation as Only for Love and Kunning Palace did in China. Hope they don't waste such a good cast with poor scriptwriting

This is surprisingly enjoyable! I came here after watching The Story of Pearl Girl and expected another tedious, boring, female-centric drama (Liu Shishi is another A lister flower, so I thought everything was about her). However, this one turned out to be pretty good and both leads are equally important. The pacing is fast, and the characters are delightful. I especially enjoy the friendship between the agents of the Six Realm and the development of the princess. The romance started off on a fun note with her wanting to have his child, and now they’re "on a break." I hope it stays this engaging for the rest of the drama.
