I'm currently at 16th episode and I just don't have the motivation to continue it anymore. Li Xun is literally a mean and arrogant jerk, suffering from a superiority complex who keeps hurting people with his words Both him and Zhu yun deserve shit for messing with Gao Jianhong's self esteem and sabotaging his self made project just to satisfy Zhu yun's personal grudges. Tbh I won't blame Gao for anything he does to them in future because these two people deserve it
I'll give this an 8/10. It was a little too long (episode 12 to 24 can be skipped easily, you won't miss a thing) The main couple was adorable 🥺 I loved the chemistry between them. The ending was happy and extremely satisfying.
I had a lot of expectations from this Chinese remake since the Taiwanese version is one of my favourite Taiwanese shows but I was kinda disappointed. The chemistry between the leads was lacking imo, the whole Ji rong plot was boring and insignificant. Fast forwarded to reach the last episode after losing interest mid-way.

The FL doesn't have any expressions on her face, you can't tell either she is sad or happy. Same goes for the ML. I wonder how this show managed to get 8.7 MDL rating. For me, a rating of 7.8 is more than enough for this.
