Heartbeat was supposed to be a fantasy rom-com but the "rom-com" left midway and never came back. Fantasy?? There's wasn't any to begin with. A potential wasted.
Just watched ep 2. One thing they didn't explain was why the parents were abusing their daughter?? Were they also possessed? What was the their back story?
I binge watched all the 12 episodes in 2 days which I did after a veryyyyyyy long time. ( I've been dropping shows mid way left and right) I am hooked, waiting for the new episodes
It was a decent one time watch. Nothing extraordinary, the romantic build up was rushed which killed the chemistry between the main couple, there was no spark between them, very bland. I liked the second couple's chemistry more. OSTs were great Overall 7.8/10
My expectations were huge after seeing the MDL ratings but unfortunately it didn't impress me that much. I liked it but not as much, I liked WIFTY more. This is a 8/10 for me since I skipped a lot in the last 5 episodes.
