I finally finished this drama after stopping midway in 2022 lol. I must say I quite enjoyed the second half. I think the way you receive this drama depends on where you are in life and if you understand how people's circumstances affect their characters. I love how the writers portrayed how poverty, low self esteem and trauma affect your decisions. I enjoyed the weirdness of the two leads a lot after having more contexts about what is going on in their lives.

I think Gong accepted to be in a relationship with Go Eun because of what her family put him through. The dad basically blacklisted him so he can never work as an OBGYN in the country. GoEun is aware that he doesn't love her but she just keeps pushing their relationship and taking advantage of the power dynamics here. So I kinda understand his relationship with Eve.
