Jaeeon asking Dohyeok "is Nabi easily swayed up by me?" in todays ep was so so sarcastic lol He really said that when he just kissed her 15 min before like he obviously know she's swayed up by him. Seriously I don't know where the fuck is this plot going. Some scenes is like Jaeeon is changing for her but he doesn't seem sincere at all and in this whole scene Jaeeon was so sarcastic and fake about everything like?? The way he talked with Dohyeok ugh... I just can't understand this character. Is he changing or is everything just fake? I guess we'll have to wait for the last episode to find out.
I really like Dohyeok and I know he really care for Nabi but I don't know If I liked how he acted in this episode. We know Jaeeon's relationship with Nabi but Dohyeok really don't know much and he's already judging Jaeeon lol Ofc I guess as the way he saw Nabi crying he could feel that something is wrong but him with this whole "I dont think I can let you go just like that" could be really toxic as well.
Yoonsol and Jiwan omg!!! Yoonsol is really sure about her feelings but Jiwan isn't. She don't know if she likes Sol as a friend or more. We can really feel that she's afraid, poor girl :( But I hope she do like her and they end up together. We really need something good happening in this drama.
Ok maybe an unpopular opinion here, everyone and I mean everyone knew that Jae eon does not date. He was very…
People say he’s a jerk because he didn’t want a serious relationship with Nabi and he knew she wanted that but instead of leaving her alone and moving on he was still chasing after her. He talks about other girls chasing after him as they were crazy but he himself do that as well and even become attached to them. Everytime Nabi asked something about the girls he was involved to he says like is the girl problem. When he did the butterfly tattoo in one of the girls he said that the girl was too emotional about him and was chasing after him. When he kissed the girl at Nabi’s house he said that the girl wanted do kiss him. Nabi asked him about how can he go out with her if he was seeing someone or dating someone else he asked “is this the problem?” as him having a girlfriend wasn’t something wrong. Sure, he wasn’t dating Nabi but the way he says like everything was the girls fault as if he didn’t wanted that as well is really meh. Nabi isn’t dumb she know where she is putting her heart to but Jaeeon is a player and he was playing with her emotions since the beggining.
I really can't feel any kind of sincerity or emotion in Jaeeon's words. How can he say "I like you" and "I miss you" in the most emotionless way? lol and I'm not blaming Song Kang's acting, he's a good actor, but this character is just ?? I can't sympathize with him at all. He doesn't have a type of personality I would like and his story is just meh as well. Sure, Nabi have an insane chemistry with him (even I was losing my mind in the beggining of the show because of this) but seriously I can only feel that when they're making out and this only works because Song Kang is an attractive actor as well. When they're just talking (which is rare) is so cringe for me. At the beginning of the show, the hot scenes between Jaeeon and Nabi can draw our attention but there comes a time when we look for a little more interaction between the couple BEYOND the hot scenes and they don't pass this kind of relationship on to us. On the other side, Dohyeok is a simple character, he's just Nabi's childhood friend, but I do like him more. We can feel how his feelings for Nabi is genuine and all his scenes with her is just natural. (altought I have to say, I'm not a fan of a characther who keeps chasing the girl even after she says she doesn't like him).
If I had to choose, for me, Nabi would end up alone because I think she needs some time alone and unfortunately she doesn't like Dohyeok. But If I had to choose someone between Jaeeon and Dohyeok yep, definitely Dohyeok. It would be a little forced for her to end up with him in the last episode but he's a boy who can help her overcome all her bad past relastionship so I’ll accept.
Besides this boring triangle, I'm dying for SolJiwan, I still can't believe we truly have a lgbt couple here. I hope they end up together because they're really cute and I would be devastated otherwise.
Personally i’m liking so far, FML feelings is very realistic. Yeah, she is “naive” but I think a lot of people can relate to her and the way she’s dealing with all of this. She knows ML is toxic but she can’t stay away because she’s attracted to him. And even thought she know he’s toxic she still want to believe that he’s not because she don’t want to be part of another failure relationship. It’s a very complicated feeling. For now on I think she’ll be divided in trying to stay away from him and at the same time staying and believing in him because she doesn’t want to accept the true. If you prefer romances with
I really like main leads chemistry (Sohee and Song Kang are on fire) but Jaeeon is toxic and manipulative so I’m waiting for SML. I really like the actor as well and I know he’ll probably be a better man. Hope she ends up with him.
I really liked! FML fell in love for ML really fast but I cant blame her Song Kang is TOO HOT who wouldn’t? lol Seems like they won’t end up together and I dont know if I will shipp her with SML because both main lead have too much chemistry but lets see.
PS: Song Kang is killing me srsly I know he’s handsome but he’s too much here *help* I understand FML 100% because even if i knew that the ML was a player I would still fall for him lol
Ok ep3 really got me and now i'm addicted I need ep4 asap lol I'm so in love with Myeol Mang omg he's sassy, misterious and even with a "i'm cold i dont love anyone" mind we all know he's actually caring and loveable. Dong Kyung is a little annoying but at the same time i find her cute (it's boyoung after all) and I have to say I really loved her last lines in EP3, she's bold and smart.
I'm excited for the next episodes! The main characters have really a good chemistry and the story is becoming interesting for me as well.
PS: Lee Soohyuk is SO HANDSOME I swear how can someone be that handsome? he's too pretty lol
Definitely gives a Goblin vibe which makes the drama lose originality and the plot seems a little predictable too. I’m not sure if I liked Dong Kyun’s plot as well but her scenes with Myeol Mang are really good so I’m excited for their romance scenes. At least the drama is really fast paced and I think next week episodes will be really good.
PS: Seo In Guk is really handsome here i’m dying lol
I know it's an adaptation but I’m not happy with this. Suho is extremely possessive and even more grumpy than he’s in the webtoon (in fact I dont think he’s like that there). Seojun has become more bad boy than he should be and it seems like he just wants to mess up with Suho when in fact, this kind of behaviour should only happen at the beginning of the drama. They are extending the fight between Suho and Seojun too much and it’s making both of them look bad. Seojun is my favorite character in the webtoon and I’m sooo annoyed about how he's being shown here. I hope at least he has a better development ahead because the way he has been shown so far, I even understand why some people doesn’t like him.
I am not against changes but in this case I think they are messing up with the characters. The only change I really loved was in Soojin’s character. I don’t know if it’s just me but I think that the people who read the webtoon might be angry about these things too.
Well, I liked. True Beauty is a drama about a girl who thinks she is ugly because society says she is ugly and because of that she finds in makeup a way to overcome it. I like and identify a lot with this FML because in fact, having pimples, wear glasses and having a "nerdy" look is considered ugly by many people. It's bad and annoying? Yeah, it is. But It's not fake like some people are saying. This beauty standards really exist and I went throught that.
Ofc I really wanted the story to be more empowering and less cliché but just reading the synopsis we can see that won't be the case so I really don't understand some comments here. This drama won't make a seriously debate about breaking beauty standards, it's just a simple romcom. But on the other hand, I think they will talk about self-acceptance. Let's watch and see but for now I liked.
They changed some things compared with the webtoon but I think it’s ok. Soojin is a really annoying character in the webtoon but in here seems like she's going to be FML friend and she's seems nice, so I liked! I know she's going to like Suho too but I don't think she will be annoying like in the webtoon. At least I hope not.
PS: I love Eunwoo and Gayoung but I'm really excited for Inyeop because I'm in love with him since 18 again lol
I didn't like Soo Ah's character so I'm happy that Yiseo is the main character too and will be Saeroyi's new love interest. Soo Ah probably will side with the villain, which will make it even more difficult for me to like her.
Well... *taking a deep breath* Is Dal Gun thinking he's a god or smth? lol I love his action scenes but the character's actions are so reckless and impulsive that it's making him look stupid. In episode 5, he only got something because Hae Ri was smart.
Anyways, the show itself continues to deliver good action scenes and good performances. I confess I'm not so curious about the plot because I just don't feel any empathy for any of the characters (aside from the main characters of course) and they just don't interest me. But the drama has such a good cinematography and the action scenes are so well done that I always end up liking the episodes.

and omg yes!!! i liked seolhyun’s character here and i hate the ideia of a love triangle...a friendship between them would be so much better :/
