You’re the unspecified one that should know BL actors career is basically over between 30-35. The fact is there are so many younger actors entering the BL industry and pushing the old ones out. Mew and Tul are mid 30’s. They are not doing BLs anymore, allegedly. The young actor from Revenged Love is under 25, he has several new projects going on, none are BL. He might never do another BL, his schedule is full, so is his costar. If you’re not a Thai actor in the BL industry, other countries are a hit or miss, and hardly do repeats with the same actors.

First, the investors have to be onboard for these BL projects, some are so low budgeted, you can see it in the project. If the investors are not convinced, no funding, maybe little funding or no funding for the BL projects. South Korea has a new BL streaming, one actor is 20, and the others under 25. See, where this is going? Younger and younger.

There is a BL project from Japan, and the actors are over 35, it’s struggling and ratings are low.

What is your data bank registering thinking people want these actors? That is so junior high school immaturity. Grow up, respond like an adult. Nobody wants these kind of actors, but ones like them, then some of them will pass on them.

Thank you. I understand. I’ve watched from the beginning and I do get the drama, but the storyline of the two main without the movie is more interesting than the movie they are making. The SA as you say is real and very disheartening, especially with what’s happening in real time in that country. The laws there are so strict, and safety and concern should always be high awareness. It’s almost like they can’t travel along, because that parking garage SA was awful for him to endure. He was targeted. If only he knew self defense, ie, marital arts. Oh, I really only seen a couple of behind the scenes. The real young director is handsome, talented and amazing. He needs his own bl project. He’s definitely coded bottom. That would be an awesome project with him as main lead.

Confession: I’ve been binging Revenged Love in between waiting weekly for Deep In. So, my thought process might be a little off. Really like the couple in RL. They are so talented and the chemistry is insane. Lol.

Same sentiment exactly. I can barely finish ep 6, it’s so boring. A lot of talk about nothing. It’s hard to tell what’s what until they say their names. Might just wait until all the episodes are completed to make sense of this project. It started out very good, but it’s getting questionable now.

Yes, I feel you should, especially if you’re a fan of ABO. Frankly, not fond of Boat’s hair, but hopefully, it gets better, there is a big investment on this one. But, after watching ep 1, your point is valid.

YES. I can never look anyone in a duck costume the same again. Hopefully, they don’t meet up with Toptap.😊. This duo is a good match. Hopefully, they get more BL projects. The chemistry, the acting, the visuals, and talent of these two cannot be matched, not even with WilliamEst.😊.

Not sure, perhaps a fast purse grab for investors. Boat does look a little off, but Oat is basically the same. Another thought, could it be you’re tied of their duo? Some, like Pond and Phu, do not watch anymore of their projects. IMO, they are overrated and boring.

Just did a little research. Boat and Oat was approached by production house MFlow entertainment, and allegedly they were immediately onboard and probably grateful for this project. The article also said MFlow only thought of Boat and Oat because of their success in My Stubborn, and their dynamite chemistry in a frame.

But after seeing Toptap and Minlee in Payback, they could have easily been good casting for Knot. Their acting and chemistry reminds me of Boat and Oat.

Hopefully, Toptap and Minlee one day, get an opportunity like this in their career. But, Payback is very good.

I kind of thought the investors looked into them first. Production Houses are huge in Asia.

Boat is casted as a more reserved character. He’s the hier and boss of his family’s business. His character cannot be as aloof as Oat. He’s constantly immature in all his characters. Boat is the stable reserved Alpha. Strictly business and dominance. He hardly ever compromise. Even in real life, he allegedly keeps or tries to keep Oat in line as much as humanly possible.

Surely, there may have been other duos approached and auditioned. But, the investors and sponsors are cutting checks and they have their staff recommend which duos would be best. Actually, of all the duos in Thai BL, they cast the right duo. This duo is interesting and a winning ticket because of My Stubborn. Investors and sponsors know what safety looks like when providing the entire production staff a payday of recognition.

I thought the same. Just did not seem bipolar at all. It was definitely a case of Narcissistic behavior, ADHD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. He had a dominant illness of control his lover to be what he wanted him to be. He so played the victim throughout the 12 episodes. Everything was about him, and no one but him, and he mold his lover to be who and what he wanted, because of his greed for power over him. Is that love?

Yichen has deep Stockholm Syndrome badly. His mind is mush after what he been through, LuFeng needs medical help and a lot of therapy to help him overcome his childhood which destroyed him and everyone around him. Unless he seek medical attention, a happy ending will never happen.

On Netflix one of the actors from KO is the ML in drama Teach you a Lesson. It’s really good. He’s a great actor as well.
The entire cast is good.
