You’re right what are the chances of the crew coming back, especially if they have other projects.

But, huge companies like Disney can write this off and move on. They can also make it up with other actors that are famous and has great credentials. One thing for sure, all the losses are relative. They know how to make up for their losses, and unsuccessful projects.

Allegedly, there have been a few female actresses that have said they prefer not to work with him, so this could be a problem that investors are keeping track of as well. It’s hard to say in the South Korean Arts and Entertainments if his career will ever reach the pinnacle it once was. He use to be able to ask for a certain amount of money per episode which was very astronomical. This may not happen for him again. He might only be cast as support or guest in future projects if that. It’s just reality of the harsh career of being an actor with a scandal attached to them, even though the court of law has made a decision, but the court of public opinion will never forget. Even with this said, money is always first and foremost. Maybe he will get married, and retire if his career does not flourish again. He’s on record as saying when he is 41, he wants a 21 year old wife. So there you have it, he likes them young. Surely, you have heard him say this and then laughed about it.😢

All this does not matter to an investor. This is their money. Investors and brands don’t like scandals whether they prove to be true or not. It’s the companies revenue and brand revenue that pays his salary. If they feel he’s now a liability in their business portfolio, they are moving forward with a new scandal free celebrity. This is how big investors think. They cannot and will not take these chances, when there are so many other actors out there waiting for an opportunity to just work. So what you have said is acknowledged, but it’s the guys with billions to spend on scandal free, not billions to spend on ones with scandals attached. Money drives decisions, not cort verdicts, personal feelings, face cards, etc. Either you’re scandal free, or life may not be the same in the entertainment industry ever again. Investors are cautious about their investments.

They probably do not care about a membership that’s under $20 dollars. This company is worth billions with a capital B. They do not have time or money to lose. They are strategically planning their next move. Plus, they appear to like other popular male celebrities in South Korea that’s scandal free, and brands are signing contracts with.

Do you know how much money and power this company is worth? They do not like scandals, and this one was huge. The kdrama has not finish filming, allegedly it still has episodes to complete. The FL just gave birth, no telling when and if she comes back. A lot of brands, colleagues, and mainly investors are being distant from this actor, no matter what the courts concluded and said. It’s about business and money, nothing personal. It’s also about principles the investors stand on.

You are just a fan. In order for him or ANY actor actress to come to the screen of the films, they need sponsors and investors, that’s who pays the project salaries. Whether he’s back or not, it’s up to the sponsors and investors to say he’s back. Money talks and BS walks. It’s not personal, it’s the investor’s money. They do not care what the fans has to say, because fans have no money, just feelings and mouth. The investors have a vast pool of money to spend, but they are cautious. If Knock Off never makes it to streaming, investors can write this off and move on. They don’t have time to test the waters, they want what they want. They want actors and actresses without scandals that are bankable. Business 101, freshman year of college. Knock Off still has to complete more episodes. The FL just had a newborn, so there’s no telling when she’s able to resume acting. She might not be back until 2027, and allegedly, who’s to say she wants to collaborate with him again. Also, she’s like any mom, wants to take time off to be with their newborn. They cannot complete all episodes without the FL, unless AI is an option like they are doing in China to make cdramas. It cuts cost on expensive Tier one celebrities.

Well said. Bravo. Never seen a BL like this. This entire show from the start seemed personal in nature, as if they are a real life couple and all this really happened to them in real life. It was like 2 lovers airing out their personal toxic feelings. And, not acting. This project really is very toxic and strange and not well written. For a BL debut, for both, this was over the top. After the 2 actors from Untamed collaborated together, they turn down future projects together, they refused to work together in the same frame, because they are a couple now, and cares deeply for each other, and their careers. China doesn’t promote back to back duo BLs like Thailand. To My Shore, one actor (the younger one) has not been casted since that project, and the other actor has so many projects listed. None are BLs.

Great analysis. You’re spot on. I, too, said he was weird from episode one. He forced him every single day to be with him. People aren’t seeing this. However, after seeing nearly 75 BLs, this drama did not seem like a BL drama, imo.

Everyone does. He looks like his lover’s son. That’s cringe to many. I cannot see them making more BLs together. It looks so unnatural. This kid does need to do BLs. But, he’s grown. Regular dramas are good for him.

Exactly. I said the same thing. He looks like his lover’s son. He looks 16/17, so underage. He treats him like a kid onset and offset. Their whole interaction is cringy to many that have dropped the show, because of the older guy’s character of being overly possessive, is is like a mad man.

The BL actors in their 30’s, not many, do not have BL actors that look like underage children. This second ML looks like his kid, that he takes to school everyday. He does not look right for role, but he got it. But, on camera, they do look cringy because the 32 year old man looks old compared to that 27 year old kid. Look at them, they look like father and son.😥

Not really in Thailand. Most of the ones in their 30’s in Thailand don’t really get casting for BLs, only a few. BLs are for the ones born late 90’s to early 2000s. People are not really waiting to see older actors in BLs. This guy is trying to prove a point, you think? He has about 3 to 5 years, and it’s over. He already looks old in this character.
