Well said. This pairing of the two for some is losing its charm. Pavel, is such a good actor, but the visuals on screen of the two are not working for some. Pavel just want to work and do a good job, but for some reason this is not coming from the duo, and it is not interacting with their characters for nc scene. Then the agency went directly into another project with the duo, not giving any clear verification for your questions and many others. It’s a big ball of confusion with this duo. Pooh, his acting, his Thai, his visuals and everything just is not working. This is why some are not understanding why Pavel doesn’t have a much more polished pairing. Even the stalker from PB2 was more charismatic than Pooh with Pavel. Hopefully, the agency figure something out soon, because they realize there is a concern for the longevity of this duo. Most people watch their projects for Pavel not the duo. Imagine Pavel not in 3 episodes of a 12 episode project, and they had to depend on Pooh. It would not survive. Pooh as a top to Pavel is hard on the eyes. Pooh is no way a Peter Pan, Smart, Apo or some of the other strong tops. The casting directors know this, but they are focus on revenue and betting on Pavel to deliver both characters, which he does. I dropped their new project because it’s too obvious what’s going on. Also, the plot as others have noted in their projects are never clear to hold a grand audience through all the episodes. Pavel just gave a thank you acceptance for his work, can’t say it was for both of them, but his delivery came across for the both of them, he was standing next to Pavel like a giddy teenager while Pavel accepted the award in total English. It was beautiful.

Well said. But, out of boredom his last Law project, which I skipped, was not his best. However, I stated earlier, he’s probably tied of acting and is probably doing other entrepreneur type projects. He doesn’t get all his wealth from arts and entertainment, he has other career projects he’s loving more since he’s getting older, at least showbiz older. He’s dating the beautiful IU, they probably have other businesses they are into together that does not leave time or interest for his acting portfolio.

LJS was a good actor when he was working regularly, however, it appears he’s become complacent and doesn’t work as much or does what he likes. I skipped his last project, also skipped Mouse. Cannot think when he’s had a good project. Oh; While you were sleeping was okay with Bae Suzy. Not sure where his future is headed, but he’s super rich now, and has the beautiful IU, so maybe KDrama is part of his past, and he has enough wealth to last his entire life.

He is one talented Korean Oppa. Hopefully, he’s back to his craft as soon as possible. Second chances are the best chances in life. He has certainly been missed on the big screen.

Agreed. Most of his projects of the historical genre have been too long in length and a mystery. However, he finished them all in a professional manner with grace, and the kind understanding of his female leads.

Remember, Under the Power, and actress Tan Song Yun, sometimes known as Seven Tan? She’s the one am speaking of. Your thoughts of their collaboration in that drama. She and Bai Lu are the only two, that I can remember where there maybe was project chemistry. Then again am not too sure. I’ve noticed he’s extremely careful onset and so respectful of the female cast in main lead roles, or support roles. I’ve been watching his career since his 20’s, now he’s 36.:).

What??? That explains why it was only 19 episodes. His projects are normally over 30/40, and sometimes over 50 episodes. Frankly, that’s too much. I use to sit through those redundant projects,not anymore, bored senseless, because it appeared all the episodes were repeats of the previous. 😢. At any rate, glad he’s left that agency and contract. I’m sure it was more to it than we will ever know.

Well said. He’s a great actor. But, you know he’s married with a beautiful son and wife. He allegedly got married in his late 20s. So, perhaps his marriage is more of a respect factor for him. There are hardly any young male actors in China or Taiwan or Hong Kong that are married. He’s an exception to the norm and standards of being a male actor and married with family so young. If you research some of his past interviews he speaks on this. Allen is a very talented actor. All he wants to do is a good job working and take care of his family with solid respect. IMO, there is only one actress he really worked with and the chemistry for the role were there and that’s Seven, the Chinese actress.

Hopefully, get more non historical dramas with less heavy makeup and historical costumes. He did that for years. It was getting boring, but he looked good in those historical clothes.😊
