Might be wrong but the “friend” is a real jerk with how she is moving in on the ex. It’s one thing to like him but the shady questioning of what ji Xiang is doing romantically and the hiding h the times she is spending with the ex from her “friends” is really disturbing. I think that she was never a real friend. Especially with her family connections with the medical industry and how she is so ready to use that influence to get herself a man but not be a good friend. Kinda gross that ex doesn’t notice how calculating she is acting. Maybe I am missing something but kinda bad move.
