100% agree. Something is off. She never remembers the security guards actual name, she takes credit for the work the ml did himself, she took over project that her “friend” worked so hard on, she tried to placate her with a necklace which I found insulting, and she seems to not understand being a friend with someone does include supporting the friend through action not just words. Especially since it is obvious the sfl has a boatload of power through her family connections. Look, I was raised in a wealthy family and neighborhood so I don’t think I am biased against her because of her family money. I think her behavior is odd and I find her positivity to be suspect. It may be how the actress is playing her and she’s a saint but I just think she has this entitlement about her that is off putting. Just my opinion.

I 100% do not like sfl. In my gut I feel like she keeps spouting off this I’m not like the others and just cause I’m rich doesn’t mean I use the system for my benefit. Look I know she can’t control who she was raised by, just like the fl can’t control where she came from, but ultimately she is incredibly condescending in her we are equals attitude toward fl when she does not really support the fl in any way. I just really feel sfl’s friendship with fl is purely to benefit herself - either through work and the project she took or through personal through planting seeds of doubt in the fl’s head about ml’s interest. She didn’t really contribute to the app project, but got credit with ml and she got fl to do all grunt work and preparation for the project she took over. As for the ml, I think he may be misunderstood but what is overwhelming to me is how comfortable he is with going along with the crowd of jerks in that bank when they are slandering and bullying the fl. I realize the fl is cold but I also think that is her way to protect herself from toxic people and situations. The ml never seems to acknowledge, in crowds, her enough to do the right think when bullying is taking place- though the last episode ending may be the turn around he needs.
I have watched this twice. It’s literally my favorite Chinese drama. The siblings and dads were just so lovable. I wish that it kept going. The chef dad is like my favorite Chinese drama character ever. He made me want to have him as a dad. I loved the actor. The three siblings were phenomenal as well. Does anyone have suggestions for similar types of dramas? Also although family was a huge part of this drama I liked the constant, romantic and dedicated love of the leads.
Loved it. The lead actress is extraordinary. Such a talent and her portrayal of being on the spectrum was brillant (I’m a mental health professional). I just thought it sent such a great message with nearly every episode.
Literally signed up for mdl after this season. I kinda was bothered by how different Eun Jae’s boyfriend was. I felt like his entire character changed for the negative which left me upset that I liked him in the first season. Reading comments, I felt like maybe I’m the minority in this but I just don’t feel a person’s way of dealing with other people drastically changes so much in a year. Maybe I missed something but I just felt like I should have stopped at season 1. He was one of my favorite characters before and I felt was the type of person that would still be kind to others. I mean she wasn’t’ t perfect but I found a lot of her reactions were to his mixed messages. It just seemed like such a large shift in his character I was frustrated. Sorry had to vent as no one I know watches k-dramas so I needed an outlet. Marking spoiler, though I don’t think it is- more like opinion, but in case it gives too much away I don’t want to ruin it for others.
