The leads being too interesting and pleasing to watch made the rest of characters and sub-plot look a little weak…
I really hope your second point is true. It just might be because the writer of this is the same one who wrote Crash Landing on You and that was so well done. Perhaps she is frustrating the audience on purpose to build up to a big come back! :"(
Three things: 1) It's moving way too slow for my liking. 2) For a conglomerate family, they sure are clueless. How can they be played like fiddles in this way? It's farfetched. 3) Really hoping that it does not have a sad ending. Edit: From the previews, next week will be more of the same. :(
The show is getting good. Episode 6 is leaving it rather late but I'm glad I stuck it out. For those still wondering whether to get into it. Sure. But go into it with no expectations.
I will leave the rest of the review for later end. But this one plot was out of nowhere 🤭I mean In Ha had already…
I also found this weird. I hope the writers explain this. Perhaps its to show the basis of In Ha's friendship with Tae Oh. Tae Oh can't be better than him in any way or have anything outside of whatever In Ha allows him to have? It may speak to In Ha's self esteem issues? So, this need to be superior prompted his feelings for the FL? Dunno. Either way, the writers haven't given enough context to show this.
A few minutes into episode 13 and I am so annoyed. The female lead's behaviour is incredibly childish and unfair. The male lead has done nothing to deserve her mistrust. She's worked herself into a depressive hole because of narratives and assumptions in her head instead of having an adult conversation with her partner. I think she was in love with the idea of this man, the fairy tale. And as soon as her fairy tale is threatened she has a melt down. Even her stupid crying over nothing is annoying.
This show tried to do way too much. It became obvious with the last two episodes. The loose ends were tied up in such contrived ways. It was too much for me. Very saccharine.
