It was not good. I felt insulted. It's not some minor things that were changed for the movie format. . They changed too many things that it felt completely different from the original source. If they want to continue doing more movies for this strory, i think they should just accept they messed up and completely change the entire thing. If they can't do it, then, just stop. Let other production teams that understand the novel, manhwa and really do care about it ,to do it instead.

The most mature and complex character in this drama is Seo Tae Yang. He is just being misunderstood. He is not obsessed over the female lead, he is just in love with her. Those feelings can´t be erased so quickly. The male lead came out of nowhere and started following her all the time. What is him supposed to do? She was rejectic sagye's advances at the beginning. Nobody knew she was in love with him. So, Seo Tae yang, like any normal person, would try to protect her from the guy that was following her everywhere. Once he saw the kiss between the two of them, he realized that Bom was happy with Sagye. BUT SHE CALLED HIM WHILE CRYING. That, of course , made him go running to see what was up. Sagye, wasn't answering the phone, which made her sad. AGAIN, what would someone that love you do in that position? Of course he will confront Sagye again. But before that he finally confessed his feelings , which i'm sure he knew was a futile attempt. So he already accepted that she didn't like him at that very moment. His mother killed herself because of his father ( probably ). His father does not truely love him, instead, he hinders his dream of making music. He lies to him. He is kicked out of the band, probably the only string left for him to grab on after all that happened to him. You can't blame him for misunderstanding Bom's intentions. SHE IS NOT TELLING HIM ANYTHING. Once again, miscommunication is the problem here. I'm not saying that you should like him, but at the very least don't him that much. It's not his fault.
