Season 1 did have a proper ending and it even had two special episodes afterwards. This second season is coming completely out of nowhere, but no complaints.
Between School Trip and When it Rains both getting sequel seasons... I swear someone must have made some blood sacrifices or something to the BL Gods for this to happen lol.

A Winter Sun ended yesterday, and their simple wedding at the end was so beautiful. ❤️

Haven’t watched all from 2026, but A Winter’s Sun is leaps ahead of them. It is so beautiful, I wouldn’t even place it in the same category as most of these titles tbh. 😭

Most people are complaining about the bad sex scenes... But wait... Did seriously no one get that the sex here is shown through the lens of Kaji’s feelings and thoughts? Didn't it click for anyone when Fukami asked to go gentler and slower? People don't feel or think at the same pace they move. That's where the initial disconnect comes from... But once you understand the actual point... Everything clicks into place. This drama is actually super relatable. I’ve met more than one guy like Kaji in my life... I really loved the story...

I was intrigued by your comment and gave it a shot--binged it in one night and loved it! What a great show all around, funny and sexy and actually romantic by the end. The actors killed it too, especially Kaji. If he hadn't played it so funny, his jerk era would've been insufferable but the way he acted made it enjoyable.

idk as well but seems like he's travelling a lot these past few months and just enjoying his life based on his instagram posts/stories. good for him tho (not for me, i miss his pretty face kissing men) 😗

Okay... let me start by saying: What do you mean 7.9??? This deserves so much more. A 10/10 for me. (Ooor maybe 9.87 cause I wasnt 100% feeling the ending... I feel like it could have been done a little differently, idk how tho... but I digress)

I love this series. I have seen it 4 or 5 times... it might actually be my favourite comfort series. Because the message is just so nice. You are never too old to try new things, to fail, even at 40, you dont have to have everything figured out. You can find new happiness and comfort at unexpected places (like a coffee/dessert shop) with unexpected people (a 10 years younger coworker). My favourite quote: "Acting like a girl and trying new things has amazing anti-aging properties".

Both the guys are green flags but man, do I love Nozue. He is just the sweetest guy with healthy masculinity, great boss, humble, and a cutieee. (I loove Takeda Kouhei's acting here, also in Smokey Blue, he's just so natural.)
I love their chemistry, Nozue's slow and quiet realization that he likes Togawa. I like how not everyting is said but shown in small details... there were definitly things I noticed or realized only when rewatching.

And talking about details... the show is seriously so WELL-DONE. I mean it's quite short, but every shot, every look and gesture has a meaning and adds to the story. Its chill-paced but never slow.

If you have two hours to spare, just watch it. In one word: healing.

I am pretty sure I have series PTSD for QT. Immediately when CY was telling QL the story about the lone wolf in the mountains, I cried. My mind went straight to. Was the last wolf or that bear that got QT. pain
