If Bruce Wayne was a judge

Appreciate the healthy dose of action, great OST, and less common dystopian genre. Pretty on the nose in regards to the "virus" being that this released in 2021 ;P 😏 lol
Some unexpected twists. Some unfortunately realistic(and depressing) takes on the judicial system, politics, etc.

Characters: The MVP...the Legend...
~~Lawyer Go! :-D Perhaps not everyone's choice of favorite character, but this guy was an unbothered king the entire show(the few times he's there) and had more self preservational skills than the rest of these fruit loops Lol
Judge Kang- ever entertaining and always scheming ; P -has a thing for choking people and bath robes. ~I lost count of how many different bath robes he has worn.
Rich and charismatic by day✔;
genius vigilante by night✔
Has gothic mansion on cliff-face with an elevator✔
Reckless driving✔
Brooding✔
He's clearly K-Batman and you can't convince me otherwise.

Everybody else: not gonna lie, there was some serious facepalming going on in the third act (and a lot of crying😒), but I powered through! Overall happy(mostly?) and tidy ending.

-Kinda has a webtoon adaptation feel to it ,though I don't believe that to be the case.

As far as minis go, it's pretty mid.

The two kids are adorable, so I'll give 'em points for that. -their acting was probably better than most of the adults-
The female empowerment narrative was about as subtle as a neon sign. Overdone and unrealistic ie: eyeroll inducing.
The "plot twist" can be seen coming from miles away, perhaps that was intentional though.
The "village" leader is more like the "village idiot" leader. He'd do real well as a modern day politician.
-the villians are cartoon level evil, as are their "freak of the week" schemes.
FL's mother is doing too much. Tone it down would ya? Lol
Overall, some cute and funny moments, but could have been cut down probably an hour of run time even as a mini. Something to throw on when you're bored, but don't want to invest any time & brain power in a more complex plot.

Thriller/Crime & Mystery

The subs are AI generated, so they're pretty wonky at times, but so far I'm enjoying the story & actors.
-Weird cliff hanger ending,. Are they really expecting to be able to make a season 2????? I'd actually be amazed if they could manage it, but I'm not holding my breath. Why can't we just complete a story, eh? 🙄
•Confused as to why Wu Ke Ran was in prison?? Aiding and abetting, I guess?...
•Who's the creepy little girl visiting her in prison? Her sorta "step" sister???? O.o!?!?
•Still don't know who the Abyss mastermind is. My guess is the paralyzed dad of Jiang Yan cause who else is using morse code to communicate over the phone? Then again, why call a policeman if your daughter's already been put away fornher crimes. Are there more murderers he's aware of??? Unknown.
•Luo Yin/Wu Fei killing himself was pointless...seriously. He didn't even try to take Jiang Yan with him or anything...O.o whatever, my dude.
•maybe it's because I came back to this one after a bit, but I'm still not exactly sure who the original Luo Yin is/was. As far as I could follow is that he was a victim of circumstances and wrong place wrong time.

Took almost a year, but I've finally finished it!-with lots of skipping through the filler stuff- rather biased IMO, but what does one expect from these things? Talented individuals for the most part. -way too much crying-smh

Why must reviews contain at least 300 characters??? I don't keep a detailed incident report on these things.. What do you want from me? 😩

Cozy Mystery

Fit the bill for (sorta cozy?) mystery and winter weather feelz. ?? All in all, not too bad for a japanese drama. Cons: •Some of the acting was..not the best /but there were good ones too./ •The storytelling and cuts are confusing/discombobulating at times. •Cheesy (it's no blockbuster lol) >Quirky (it's japanese so, yeahhh)
