And if Thee was fighting in Europe, could he not have been close to Paris at some point?? Even soldiers get leave…
Diplomats have other important work during times of war and would have been busy away from the front. On your other questions, the french hq wasn’t too far from Paris but the front lines stretched across France to Belgium in the north and the Mediterranean to the south at a time when transport links were slower and restricted by the war so it would have been difficult for a soldier to guarantee returning to post on time and being shot for desertion. But that might have made for a sequel with an interesting ending, I guess lol.
he shouldn't even have any jobs in the first place because his thai sucks. He lived in thailand all his life but…
I’m sorry but I can’t let this go. If he didn’t acquire the language as an infant, this was undoubtedly out of his control. Babies and young children pick up the languages being spoken around them. Later, he may also have lacked the opportunity to decide for himself what subjects he studied at school-most children and young people don’t. I think you need to be very careful when you make assertions about what other people’s perceptions and motivations are. Anti-Chinese bias appears to be as obvious in your own writing as anti-Thai sentiment in Bible’s linguistic challenges; in other words both are unsubstantiated. I could be right about it but I could equally be wrong.

OK. I’ve lived in 7 different countries other than that of my birth, some for longer than others; one for as long as Bible has lived in Thailand. (Yes, it shows my age) My success, or not, as a language learner is not the result of respect/lack of respect. It comes from a variety of sources and opportunities. I suggest this is likely the case for Bible, too.
Nope. Those are her original works. As in, she's the author of those novels. This is her first series as a screenwriter
Yes, you are right. She didn’t write the screenplay for those two but did write the original novels. I believe she was fairly closely involved with both productions, though.

This is such sketchy, old and tired news of an uncorroborated incident where no one (according to published accounts) was physically injured, that it hardly merits the term ‘problematic’. I think your idol is safe.
He’s worked with the best (some more than once) to critical acclaim, so what’s the problem? If it’s simply your taste, that’s fine but perhaps it would be clearer, and less irritating to his admirers, to preface your comment with an ‘I think’.
I don't get the hate over KRW he was the first main actor I watched him in A Thousand Days' Promise, the last…
He’s been pushing boundaries for nearly 20 years now. He has made some critically acclaimed films in a variety of genre. Even the TV series have sometimes been a bit ‘different’ (Eg. A Thousand Days’ Promise). Film and TV needs actors like this who are interested in what they do for its own sake - honing their craft. It helps that he’s quite personable, too, though. I’m not complaining.
Tharntype season 2 should have address the issue of gay couple and their struggle. For example, they could have…
I think that the acceptance of gay marriage is addressed in this series. Also, dealing with kids isn’t all that couples cope with. Trust issues (relationship, monetary, planning, etc.) or are key in any relationship, with or without children. I feel that this topic was dealt with realistically. Tharn acts emotionally and reveals his insecurities and lack of belief in Type’s commitment. Also, on a more fundamental point, addressing ‘issues’ isn’t always what entertainment HAS to be about even though some great films/series have this focus.
I’m sorry but the actors are truly amazing and great actors, a pitty for you can’t see that
I think the problem arises when someone states categorically that the acting isn’t good when it’s clearly a subjective opinion, usually a question of taste. I’m personally finding the acting by the whole cast impressive. When I don’t get why someone’s behaving in a certain way, it’s generally because that’s how the director is creating the mystery.
I agree that Max is shining in the role of Tan but I think Tul is doing a pretty good job, too. Up until now,…
Yes, I think we’ll have to agree to disagree. I find it easy to empathize with Bun’s internal conflicts and unease, as well as his inescapable attraction to Tan. The unnatural qualities you mention are, for me, part of what makes Bun real.
