well said abt Jin Mi, she's a very professional n experience actress, i actually drop this drama in 2018 after just few mins into Eps 1, re-pick up after i watch Princess Silver because of Leo Luo, n i give it a go after great review on continue... yes, even Yang Zi mentioned she's not confidence of her looks but because of that, her acting skills exceeded my expectations, playing a naive yet pure hearted girl with everything so protected, that's the character she's portraying and watch till she went to earth to be human with Xu Feng, that's where her acting skills change to another level, that part of "li jie" is kind of romantic, and when things back to heaven, things get confusing for her, her love to Xu Feng is real yet she's in dilemma because of the marital bond with RunYu... n then it goes to Run Yu part .... that's so depressing and out of my expectations... he have a really really traumatizing childhood (i cried the entire part n so feeling Run Yu sadness and hatred) ... n because of Jin Mi, he will do anything to win his fiance back... but Jin Mi have really fallen in love with Xu Feng unconsciously till she killed him herself on her wedding with Run Yu... and broke the spell her fairy mom planted on her.... that part i cried so badly too... you know if a person can act if their skills touches your soft spot! These few young actors/actress are pretty awesome i would say! Great casting team n the songs ... oh my... its so good! I got goosebump when i hear the songs play.... that's abt overall production team effort in giving their best... there's never perfect drama/movie no matter how much they tried, but its the afterall taste we as viewers felt n remember.... i will rewatch some day... this the 2nd best costume drama after 3 world 3 lives (missed Bai Chien & Yehua too). Sometimes must give them a chance, after a few episodes still can't agree / like... then drop it! But i found that many great drama's just got better as u watch on!

am really looking forward to watch all Luo Yunxi drama, he's actually a professional actor, other than his great looks n beautiful voice, yes he's proving that he can really act, after i watch Ashes of Love n Princess Silver, its so sad to see the sorrow side, i cried for his part only! And The Ultimate Ranger, he's such an adorable guy... such a cute character but why must he sacrifice himself at the end... i want 2nd part!! With the same lead... they are matching!
Very well written, short, sharp and sweet.... I actually come back for this drama in 2019 after i watch Princess Silver and impressed with Leo Luo acting skills and of course his very good look no doubt!
Ashes of Loves is the 2nd best drama after 3 world 3 lives... I loves all characters esp Runyu as its so sad, bitter and somehow depressing to know what have have to endure and go thru! Thank goodness his ending wasn't too bad... at least he is back to his good spirit and accept the fate that he's all alone, i wish there's part two where they will stressed on Runyu love and romance part... of course Deng Lun and Yang Zi is a very matching couple... even off screen they r so cute together... i especially like Yang Zi, she played JM character very well, its in fact she loves XF deeply she break the spell... i can't denied the fact that she have to reject Runyu... just not fated ba.
