Thanks for this... was thinking of checking it but... nope, don't think so...
Ha, glad my review helped and thanks for reading (despite all the typos and garbled grammar I missed because I was sleepy. Your comment made me re-read it and yikes, lol π«£)
I was wondering about the bipolar thing suddenly became so kind and nice. Actually I would like to know he needs…
He had a heart disease and was in line for a transplant, but his situation wasn't urgent, so he was on a long wait list. The car accident made his situation more urgent/life threatening, so he got moved to the top of the wait list.
Yes, GY mom did explain to her son. GY was unconcerned about the matter before QJ raised it. Why she was misunderstanding…
I thought QJ said she tried to find out what happened and came across records that indicated GY heart donor was SJ, which is why she assumed he died. So she only tried to find out what happened to his body, and wouldn't be looking for him as though he were alive. That was my interpretation at least.
hii do you also think that the Male Lead no matter what role he takes he just looks scary for you?? like i can't…
I think it's because he's had work done on his face, so it makes his face look a bit unnatural. I remember seeing clips of his early days when he was starting out and you can tell. Kind of too bad because he looked great as he was, but my understanding is that some of these new artists can sometimes get pressured into getting some work done when they're just starting out.
Wow, for all the problems in this show, I have to say, they really hit the nail on the head in ep 12 when they were presenting the worst types of proposals! The three they mentioned are 100 percent the most annoying types of dramaland proposals that really do not take into account the women's feelings at all and instead are just different types of pressure tactics. A++ for the call-out.
Just about to start this. Did the leas do their own dubbing?
The FL does her own, but the ML is dubbed by Sun Ruiyang. Although I'd say overall, it's not bad and the voice still suits the actor, if that makes sense.
So they just suddenly dropped an old C drama with Jung Il Woo (The Girls' Lies); wonder if this means this one might actually finally see the light of day! π€―
Finally got to the episodes with the kids, and given the ML and FL are five years apart, then I think it could work -- the girl could be 7-8 and the boy could be 12-13. (Speaking from personal experience of knowing kids of those ages who look a lot older/younger.) But also laughing my head off that of course they had to throw in the "childhood connection" trope too, lol, because the earthquake wasn't fate enough. π€£
I'm kind of struggling with making progress on this one and have binged through two other dramas while trying to make it past the first 10 episodes here. In any other drama, the FL's behaviour and the things she said would be super annoying if she were the delusional 2FL who liked the ML. Frankly, the FL's BFF is acting the same way as her (I'm only on episode 10, so he hasn't pulled any jerk moves yet, which I hear happens later). He's also kind of acting like the stereotypical "ιΈιζ»θ£" (domineering CEO trope). So I think it's bothering me that it's supposed to be okay and less annoying if the behaviour comes from the main couple versus secondary characters. All this to say, the romance is not working for me, and if it weren't for the fact that the FL is immensely likable when she's not hounding the ML, I would find her character incredibly annoying and childish thus far. (Meanwhile, the ML and his entire crew are like a pile of oversized teddy bears - they are all very adorkable!)
lol, I feel like the vast majority of FLs in a lot of these modern dramas have ugly clothes - it's practically a trope! It's either ugly jeans or ugly, ill-fitting work blazers. The rivals or BFFs almost always dress way better! π
Someone please explain how anyone got a recording of their last moment in the car accident, and how Qing Tian only got a partial recording of that conversation. And how did the kids get split up if the sister was killed. Did she send the girl back already earlier? I feel like all this was not made clear.
I'm pleased to hear a positive, I've started the first episode and loving it, anything with action I'm down!!!…
The Untamed is fantastic. I haven't watched yet, but a friend highly recommends Ultimate Note and specifically loved the bromance in that one too (that one is more traditional bromance vs BL subtext like Untamed).
