So good!!!! Sooo goood!!

A must watch for anyone who enjoys beautiful storytelling !!!

I was completely captivated from start to finish. On the one hand , the story of love in the relationship between Ae Sun and Gwan Sik humbles me. They’re so pure and consistent in their love for each other , even when hell shows up - you’ll find them right in the midst of it holding hands and relying on each other. The way they keep choosing despite any opposition, struggle, pain, loss, accidents and pretty much anything is something that will stay with me long after the end of the story.

On the other hand , the story of the love and sacrifice of a parent for their child is something I was not expecting to hit so close to home ! It made me reflect on all the ways my parents have shown up for me quietly and consistently and honestly just made me realize what an incredible love that is.

What a show !

Just. All the feels!

Don’t hesitate. Just watch it!

Soul swap done right !!!

I loved this show!!! Was hesitant at first going in to the whole soul swapping narrative, and the first few episodes were kind a slow start for me … but boy does it pick up and pick up well !!

What stood out the most was the couple’s commitment to each other. Instead of dragging out misunderstandings or letting small obstacles pull them apart, they chose to communicate, trust one another, and actively fight for their relationship. That felt refreshing and emotionally satisfying, especially in a genre where unnecessary conflict can sometimes overshadow the romance.

I also really appreciated the unique take on the soul-swap trope. Rather than using it purely for comedy or chaos, the story used it as a meaningful tool for growth. Watching the characters truly walk in each other’s shoes allowed them to gain deeper understanding, empathy, and respect for one another, which made their connection feel even more genuine.

And of course… the romance 🥰
It was incredibly sweet, tender, and heartfelt. The quiet moments, the unwavering support, and the natural chemistry made their love story feel warm and sincere, leaving me smiling long after each episode.

Overall, Moon River delivered a beautiful blend of emotional depth, clever storytelling, and the kind of romance that feels comforting and uplifting. Definitely a drama I’d recommend to anyone looking for a sweet, meaningful love story.

We deserved more !!!

The story starts off strong, as a romance suspense drama. Really hooks you in the beginning. Ji Chang Wook really did the most as ML, truly delivered on his performance! That momentum unfortunately was not kept till the end. The romance fell short, it really gives off the feeling of being in a car and you’re on your way somewhere but the driver keeps stopping and turning off the car along the way. Super frustrating feeling. Especially if the stops seem completely useless.

Personally did not like the FL. Too clumsy and hesitant for my taste. Also seemed too immature in a sense to really commit to the relationship. One minute they’re on, but at the slightest inconvenience she pulls away from the ML, despite his attempts and commitment to want to work through things together. At some point I think it would’ve been better to just scrap their relationship entirely. The suspense was also not suspense-ing towards the end. Really just wanted it to end. Fewer episodes would’ve really helped with the pacing of the story.

On the plus side though, I was invested in the first half of the story. The concept of it was also cool. The villain was written quite well so keeping up with him also kept me invested in the story. Not your average bad guy I must say. He was quite a trip , the actor’s delivery of the character was on point ! After the ML, his performance really kept the show going - with a crazy twist in the end ! The ML and villain pretty much carry the whole show on their back !!!

A mature relationship = communication ❤️

First of all, the chemistry between the ML and FL is off the charts !!! It’s really heart fluttering and gives you a very honest reminder that you’re single 😂.

But that’s not the best part of the drama. I think you really cannot overlook how much mature their relationship was in the sense that they were able to share each other’s pain and help each other heal. One of my favourite moments in the drama is when Ryan starts to paint again with Deokmi’s encouragement. She is was really a safe space for him to process his childhood trauma and come out on the other side as someone who has processed the pain of the past and had something else to live for. Similarly with Deokmi’s past hurt. I think he open up a side of her beyond what we see as Deokmi the fan girl ; and adds more colour to her life.

A must watch

My favourite cdrama of all time!!! Where to begin! The story is a ten out of ten! I was completely wrecked after finishing the drama , couldn’t move on for days. It’s such a beautiful story !

It’ll make you believe in love, and the healing power of love. I love how steadfast Sang Zhi was in her love for Dian Jiaxu, but also how he reciprocated her love and always did his best to show up for her and take care of her. It’s beautiful to see how even in a world where he didn’t have much going on, he was able to find somebody to love him as he was and remind him that he has value.

Another added bonus is the relationship between the Sang siblings. Most iconic siblings of all time ! I loved their bickering and also genuine love for each other. It was so funny to watch !!!!!

A hidden gem ❤️?

A cute coming-of-age/youthful drama. Especially after watching a lot of heavy and intense story lines, watching WLFKBJ will feel like a breath of fresh air.

There’s a very natural chemistry that the 2 leads have. And a really funny and wholesome element to their relationship. Especially seeing Bok Joo grow into finding herself as a “lady” outside of her identity as a professional weightlifter, I thought was quite cute. JH is the perfect boyfriend for her, because he accepts her for all she is - as an athlete and the woman he loves. And I think it’s great to witness they’re often clumsy , but never inauthentic love story.

The cutest couple ❤️

So hard to get over the Bong-Min couple !!!

I just love how sweet their relationship is. From her genuinely hating his guts to naturally falling in love with him.

ML’s iconic lines:
1. “You need to get over your first love. Quickly”
2. “All it takes for 2 people to go from friends to lovers, is for one of those 2 people to take the first step closer”

Those lines perfectly sum up why their relationship is so precious. There’s an authenticity in how the relationship formed. He waited for her to decide whether or not she wanted to be with him, and she also gradually got over her first crush and actually experienced her first love.

I love that he doesn’t ever allow for her to dim her light , and is pretty much her biggest fan. He trained her to become stronger, but also still wants to protect her. They’re honestly the cutest !!!
