I think Kim would have played a better Elyse. he seems like he fits into a ceo role better. and definitely is smoother in his acting.
anyway was this a train wreck… yeah but I enjoyed it. I was here every week. I still wanted pat to grow a solid backbone. he had someone moments I thought he would but then he slipped back into his old ways. either way I liked it, which says more about me than anything else.
I don't know how this horror series is supposed to end happily for Liu and Xiao? Unless Liu's father dies suddenly…
it might not have been a full ending I would have wanted but st least it wasn’t horrible. so I’m considering this a positive even though it felt unfinished and rushed.
it definitely feels unfinished in a way but I’m satisfied we didn’t get a full unhappy ending. so I’m good :) I do wish something happened to his dad but I’m just glad we actually got a finished series.
I love they all held guns correctly for the most part. it’s my biggest pet peeve when an actor has thier finger on the trigger rather than right above it. I notice it in every series there is, wester, eastern, doesn’t matter. so i appreciate they all did it correctly

if you can remove yourself from comparing to the Thai version it is actually a really sold JBL. even the NC scene was good (the last little part though after their talk made me chuckle). idk maybe it’s just me but this is very on par for Japanese BL for me.
