Why do they call it PILOT when it's just a preview of the entire series?
in other countries they use the world pilot to gain financial backing and sponsors. that’s why we’ll see a pilot but when the series aires it might be completely different. western countries use the word pilot as its first episode, and also does the same thing in a way. there is “pilot” season in acting where studios film LOADS of pilot episodes in hopes someone will pick up the whole season. the regular viewer never sees the amount of pilots that are actually filmed. only like 1% actually make it to your screen. but to answer your question, pilots like this one summarize the whole story in hopes to get sponsors to make the series. this is also why we sometimes get a pilot but a series never follows. they just didn’t get the backing they need to actually film it. —i was an actor in Hollywood for many years so i know the industry pretty well.
I watch 15 on fast track and I’m glad they are following the book a little more. I still have my issues with hillter being bragged out in the beginning so I’m glad it’s mostly johannorth now. and I really liked these scenes in the book so I’m glad we got them now too :) I have mixed feelings on it ending next week… since they followed the book so much in 15 it’ll feel weird to end it next week. they could make Johan and north’s story an episode or two more to really follow the book and complete it in a satisfying way. AND I love we are finally get a flips of the next couples. that god. now let’s hope we actually do get a seasons 2. the director had such bad planning when it came to season one…
