How accurate is the portrayal of antisocial personality disorder? Does it actually add something or is it just a classic case of mental illness thrown in for drama's sake and to make the character more "interesting"?

So Wei En bites Rui Fan's arm, yells "I hate you!", runs off like a child having a temper tantrum, and dude is like "Hey maybe I should tap that"? Wtf?
