She doesn't need to watch drama to be a hater. That's what a hater do. Then they will write all the "sound" reason to claim that they actually are really not a hater. That's their modul operandi.

My take is, she was adopted at young age by a good family. And has little memory of their parents since even so, seem like she didn't really grow up with her parents. Many people didn't even realised that HuaiAn has a sister. Well.. maybe we will know more later.
