Dropped the show at episode 29, bored.

The start of the show was a bit slow phased but interesting to say the least. I've read some of the reviews of the show that this is somewhat based on true events. So, basically I'm interested.

Somewhere nearing the mid part, it became so boring with too many filler episodes. So finally I've decided to drop the show at episode 29.

I think the casts were beautifully chosen. I like the chemistry between the ML and the FL. They both looks good. Actually, even secondary characters are good looking. Both major and minor roles are done pretty well, kudos to the actors.

Had a lot of potential..

This maybe a Psycho-Thriller/Crime/Suspense but all I get is the Psycho part, it's creepy with almost no suspense at all with a lousy police system.

From the get go, you'll already know who's the sexual predator hiding in an online dating app.

In their attempt to make it look mysterious, I think they didn't incorporate enough subplots to the story. All we know is that the FL is a young genius that developed an online dating app. Then there's her friends; a detective who'd been a victim of a sexual predator and a shaman who's willing to go beyond measures to help a friend.

The actors did good on their part. The musical scoring and OST were ok. All in all, it's an ok show. Nothing spectacular about it though.

Would I rewatch this? Not ever..

Great actors doing a good drama, sadly not for me

Not my kind of drama, I don't like watching shows that intends to make me sad or cry. I like shows that promises if not a happy ending, at least a good one.. No matter how much bruised the main characters are.

Reading the synopsis and some reviews, I got interested. But after a short while, it became obvious that this ain't for me.

With that being said, I can still name things that I like. For example, the actors were really good and I think they're casts pretty well. I also like the music, it sets the right tone needed in the scenes.

I cannot binge watch this one, too heavy for me and to be honest it's a bit boring. If and when, I still wanted to watch the whole show..

An ambitious show with mediocre execution..

I was so bored with the phasing of the story, too slow phased for a thriller/mystery/suspense paranormal drama. Thus making it so boring..

Still managed to watch until episode 8 though I considered this show not for me. An ambitious show with a mediocre execution.

I didn't see much connection/chemistry between the ML and FL. They started on a minor misunderstanding and they communicated through back and forth bickering. Then suddenly they fell in love in the middle of the story.

This story is basically more about sacrifices, more than possession and the paranormal.

Good story. Few tropes here and there. Happy ending.

Good story. Rich components, really good cinematography with a few tropes here and there.

At first, it feels like a very chill one. The ML was a typical domineering powerful man from the business world, domineering and narcissistic but not cruel. The FL was a typical sweet and bubbly girl next door doctor, sweet but not dumb and love crazed.

Then the story developed with a good mystery/crime/power struggle that involved both the business and the medical world. Add in the RomCom feels from the main couple and the secondary couple. The story didn't rely on the classic love triangle or tragic love story angle, which is really refreshing.

This one feels like I'm watching "Survivor" tv series or eating mixed nuts. You try to sample everything until you got fed up with everything. I think the creator of the show is overly ambitious..

Started off with an almost paranormal mystery feels. Then it turned into a survival drama. Then turned into a Sci-Fi crime drama.

ML is searching for justice for his wife, FL is searching for the truth about her mother. Another character was a mother which depended with a man all her life with a teenage daughter with a lot of angst. Another one, is a married couple on the verge of divorce. See.. mixed nuts right?

Pure entertainment: for easy/relaxed viewing.

Love this one. At first, the love hate relationship of the ML and FL was mildly annoying. But as the story unfolds, with all the character development and plot twists and turns, it became really endearing.

Liked that these was written with a strong FL and a pretty ML for a change. FL was a well respected and feared general, while ML was a bit of a scoundrel and a parasite of the royal family. She love him anyway. Even with ML's shallow personality, he learned to understand the hard exterior of FL and love her anyway.

Pure entertainment: easy/relaxed viewing, RomCom with a right dose of political intrigues, heart tugging moments and action packed fight scenes.

Love the onscreen chemistry of the cast. Good OST too. Although the series is a bit too long, I wouldn't mind rewatching this one.

Waste of time

This is some kind of mini drama, just like watching serial TV commercials. A no brainer show. I watched the first episode twice, thinking maybe I had accidentally skipped to the very end of the episode. Then when I checked, it was really no more than three minutes long. Still decided to give it a chance though..

Husband and wife with very little, close to none, on screen chemistry had a misunderstanding. Then the wife had amnesia. Lots of misunderstanding, secrets and lies. The sad part, the writers didnt even bother to give them any kind of closure. No happy endings, no sad goodbyes, no closure.

With this poorly written story plus poor acting,
a second season would also be such a waste..

Unrequited love, love triangle or maybe even square, and some more unrequited love

A bit typical concept.. With Jerry Yan as the ML

The Boss and the unicorn girl.. Meet and started off on the wrong foot, became friends and then eventually lovers.

To be honest, this show is entertaining enough to watch but the unrealistic reactions and responses of the characters were really off-putting.

For example, the FL's reaction to her estranged father. I understand the uncondional love engrained on a child for the parents. But in her case, the father had no profound reason for leaving them. Didn't even bother to look for them. And when he accidentally shows up, he was not trust worthy, he's a scammer. And the FL still accepted him, helped him, tried to shield him from moral and legal obligations..

Anyway still managed to finish the whole series. Would I re watch it? Maybe not.

Just highschool kids trying to fit in..

This one could have been great. It's entertaining and fun to watch, even the effects are good enough.

What prevented it from being great is that there's nothing profound in the story, just a bunch of highschool kids w/ ESP trying to fit in.

ML was an introvert that only wanted to be cool. He also possesses great power but is scared shitless of what he can do.

His friends didn't have enough backstory for me love them or hate them. They're just there..

ML's love interest is nothing but a pretty face and just there as an aesthetic.

The story could've been more... There should be more to it..

Almost dropped the show, glad I didn't. OST saved it for me.

I don't know what to say. I was so bored, I almost dropped the show. The only reason I watched the show is the actress playing the FL. She recently got married so when I saw this, I've decided to check it out.

This show had so much annoying testosterone. The ML, being rude to FL for almost half the show. The professor, rude to his Ex-GF. Grandpa's so conservative, he's pushing everyone according to his standards or pushing them away if anyone's crazy enough to go against him.

The one good thing of the show is it's OST, I truly enjoyed it. Oh and here's a story were nobody's truly evil, nobody got murdered or poisoned. The ML and FL still managed to end up together so everybody happy.

Watch at your own risk..

Story wise, it's not that creative. I have seen much more better shows than this one. The chemistry between the ML and FL is ok, but I feel like there's not enough sweetness shown here. There should be more, because this is an urban romance.

For an MMA fighter, there should be more action. A beautifully crafted fight scenes is necessary to add spice to the show.

I think the writers were a little lazy. The lies and the constant deception were the only cause of all conflicts in the show. It's actually a surprise that the ML and the FL still managed to be together in the end. The ending didn't have that punch too, hense the low rating.

Even with 20 years of darkness, there can still be light in the end

Crime/mystery/thriller. Complex story rich in suspense, not much fight scenes though. The backstory for each characters were also beautifully written. That's why the show demands a lot of attention. If not, you'll get lost easily.

Actors did good with theirs characters too.. I often wonder who's the villain or who's the victim. The overall tone of a small community was also done realistically. How small town gossip works and even how they've got each other's back when needed..

I may not watch this again but I don't regret watching it either. It's entertaining. And even with its darkness, there's still light at the end.
