The director said that the drama ending will be different from webtoon. I’m hoping it will be different as well.

In the webtoon, you can clearly see that she loves KBS and misses him dearly. The writer said that the drama will have a different ending from the webtoon. So maybe it won’t be an open ending.

how did frank die? isn't he supposed to recover and regenerate inhumanely fast? i didn't understand what hee-soo's…
Frank was impaled through his neck with the metal shard from the truck and couldn’t heal since his blood kept coming out of that wound. Plus he got pummeled and burned. Either he makes it out alive or they have to contend with A,B,C,D,E bad guys later.

In the webtoon, HuiSoo clearly misses KBS and cries as she says that it is the first time she has felt pain - the pain of missing someone so much. So she does not end up with the glasses guy. You can also see the chemistry they build up between HuiSoo and KBS in the drama.
