My pov ofc is this story is simple, about one-sided girl’s young crush which grew into real love when both became adults. The set-up of the first 6 episodes depicts the painful feels of admiring someone secretly, that it might come across as too childlike which in essence it is, but some audience didn’t like the FL voice or both leads characterization. That aside, the magic starts at eps7..the two leads elevated this simple story with their excellent acting and awesome chemistry. Also contrary to other opinions, ChenZheYuan is not effeminate looking male to me just bcs he has full kissable lips 👄 lol . You should give it a try, maybe ff the first few 6 eps if needed. Personally, no one can match the beauty of this drama this year for me. An easy relaxing watch that has healthy relationship goals. Rewatch value 10/10 and the reason perhaps it has >50k watchers in 5 mos only, also the ost Forever star is so beautiful ✨
