I hope if you decide to watch this, it will be for the story and not for the leads bcs obviously you said yourself that they don’t have the talent esp ZLS. Otherwise, it will be a waste of your precious time. By no means ZLS is the most talented and I also feel she needs formal coaching but she has shown improvement unlike other actresses who are liulangs and still stagnant. Different styles,different strokes for different fans and maybe we love her for different reasons. My opinion is not to create animosity so forgive me if I come accross as hypocrite.

Tbh it picks up at ep7 then the real love story begins

Btw few ppl didn’t like the first few eps, but it picks up at ep7 . I actually ffwd until then. I’m glad I did not give up bcs after that it’s magical

Seriously this drama already has many negativity before starting. A costume drama to be exact. At this point in Lusi’s career, her and her agency have tons of bargaining power. Hope it doesn’t become like another WRTW which would be a shame. Hoping Lusi cares about her reputation first than making friends. She has more potential to be great and choosing good scripts , DIRECTOR, equally talented ML and production is a no brainer, especially after waiting for almost 6 mos. Sorry if I don’t sound enthusiastic just being real here 💜

For once, I want to see a Lusi drama team that is smooth sailing like LLTG, where all the kinks are addressed from the get go and her and the director have done their research about the script and even her getting private coaching. I know it’s too much to ask..so let me go back to my angelic self 😂

I love DITK. Solid acting even she was a newbie. You can feel she really got into character. Big big age gap tho but somehow it worked. ML is an acting veteran, he was excellent. There’s def plot holes towards the end but otherwise still a great watch.

I know what you mean but her being childish was actually mentioned by Sang Yan to point out her regression. It seems to have been overdone tho, this I blame on directing. Thank goodness when she went to uni she did a 360 progression. Hang in there and you will be rewarded 🤍
