Adulting happens after ep7 that shapes up their mutual affection. FL definitely matures gracefully and develops strength enough for both of them. Their acting is so convincing that makes it a really worthwhile watch 🤍

Love her as SZ in hidden love. But I am ready for her to tackle more serious and 3 dimensional characters and hope her new work we will get to see it. A thriller drama and her as a villain will be interesting. Also want to hear more “mature vocal delivery “ from her.
I believe in her. She is already good but can be greater.

Let me remember.. I think it’s in Part 1 then after ML revenge, he received capital punishment so they got separated for 5 yrs which took only 1 eps.
Btw, not sure if you like costume historical but imo this is the best one out there in most recent years. Great acting from the leads and directing and very intricate plot. By far, this was the most discussed drama here in MDL in discussion threads

I agree with @ Frost_edelweiss suggestion. The childishness is as it is in the novel and that is to highlight the FL growth. I also recommend ffwd to Ep 7 as it’s where the magic starts to unfold. The leads carried this simple drama with their natural acting “ not forced” and explosive chemistry . Looking fwd to ur commentaries should you finish it.

It’s not ur typical cdrama. It’s a low burn for sure they get together around ep 24 ( can’t remember exact) but the ML fell for the FL first time he met her. Falling in love is not his priority but rather revenge. Meanwhile, she does not think she deserves him since of his high rank and royalty.
This is a 3 dimensional character driven plot as ML is a gray character. FL also has tremendous character devt.
It has mind blowing cinematography for a drama, exquisite action scenes, intelligent plot and humor. And ofc angst!!
It is a masterpiece with great acting and directing.

FYI, it’s an ensemble cast so expect first 4 episodes to be family oriented which can be boring and irritating.
