I assure you I don’t clown around.unlike you, ur fave might be a good actress but not all good actress can have hit dramas internationally like ZLS. Ever wonder why producers and investors line up to sign her up for big projects?? It’s bcs she is highly marketable. Proof is Love like the galaxy and Hidden love. Even the Youku CEO issued a statement that it made a lot of money and tremendous market share. Same with LLTG. The highest money maker for Tencent thus it is still exclusive to their platform without needing to sell it to Netflix.
I grew up watching Hollywood movies and watching western dramas here in the US. But you can’t force me to watch movies that won several Oscar’s bcs it’s very very boring. However, you can count on me to watch Barbie and not even Oppenheimer. It’s the exact reason why I became interested in Cdramas after watching ZLS in TROTAR by accident. Her acting is not boring but rather refreshing. Time is precious but for her my time is well invested since it’s enjoyable.
So, charisma and screen presence most often beat good actress that does not have this aura. If you ask me ur fave does not possess any of these I am sorry. Reason why she can’t be successful internationally and earn dollars compared to yuan - big difference! No one remembers her name after upcoming summer bcs it’s that forgettable . Don’t forget to buy her flowers and and all ur other faves so they feel ur love. And hype theirvdrqmqs on international platform so they get POSITIVE recognition . Save ur energy!
