how i started watching k-dramasK-dramas first came across my radar when I saw a Viki ad for The Bride of Habaek in 2018. I watched a bit of it because the plot seemed interesting, but I never finished watching it. At around the same time, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? started airing, and I really enjoyed watching it! I was also reading a webtoon called Cheese in the Trap, so when I discovered it had a drama adaptation, I immediately picked it up too. With two k-dramas in the bag, I started going down a rabbit hole of k-dramas.
how i started watching c-dramasAfter a year of watching k-dramas, I thought, "Why not c-dramas?" I picked up two modern romance c-dramas, and though I enjoyed them, I gravitated back to k-dramas.

The show that really cemented my love for c-dramas was The Untamed. I finally watched it in 2020 after a friend suggested it to me several times in 2019. I discovered that my favorite types of dramas were costume dramas with xianxia/wuxia.

how i give out my ratings: 

10/10It's the perfect drama for me. There was never a boring moment. I loved every bit of it, even if it had some flaws. I'm so obsessed with the drama, and I'm thinking about it 24/7. I feel so empty after finishing it T~T It's worth a rewatch (if I had the time), and I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch!
9.5/10Obsessed! So close to being perfect, but there were one or two parts that I actually didn't really enjoy watching or bored me a bit. I still really enjoyed it though. Still worth rewatching!
