My opinion he can provide that comfort and stability to CSS~ that she will not fear the abandonment issues. He was really an honest man and actually love CSS for what she is, remember he has seen all her character. He even miss those when she changed after being “cultured “ by the Empress in the palace. I have more to say but don’t want to spoil everything for you. I am probably the exception here where I am rooting for him 😢😭
