My opinion this series attracted lots of investors and only exclusive for now to streaming platforms that paid for the rights such as Tencent/wetv , iQIYI, VIKI and Viu ~ and regional YT channels that are licensed within the listed platforms. This is the first cdrama that I noticed such.

Pay close attention to their micro expressions, it is of significance esp of WL and ZLS.

She also describes him as hot and cold. Quite conflicted and super possessive . He looks normal but she even said you need a medicine. Her anger towards him has to do with this.
Foreshadowing his ulterior motive of revenge due to killings of his clan during his childhood, CSS is not on his plan. Unfortunately CSS will be heartbroken In the most unimaginable circumstances 😭😭
Btw I know everyone is in full admiration of WL. Tbh ZLS is just equally magnificent here. 🙌

Not a lot, novel readers can really sense the flow and esp micro expressions of CSS and LBY. for ex on eps 12 when he rescued her from that bandit with that magnificent arrow, try to notice CSS expressions like she was awestruck. That’s how she sees him. To be idolized but not within her reach, like she said to the emperor they are not a match.

In the book, she admires LBY like a god that only deserves to be on the altar. With her low self esteem, she thinks she does not deserve him 😭

Hold your thoughts lol. We shall re -visit this once LBY will force her hands..it will be interesting.
When we get to that part, the contrast between real life and fiction will be astounding in terms of choosing a partner, esp granted there is no personal developments. 🤔✌️
