I totally get why some viewers might be frustrated with Do Hoe's cold and distant vibe. But I’d like to see it from different views.
The cinematography in this series is just stunning, especially when the snow starts to fall on Ju Yeong’s shoulders. In the sixth episode, when Do Hoe and Ju Yeong finally hook up after not seeing each other for 12 years, it’s beautifully shown. There is no vulgar scene whatsoever. It’s even intertwined with their first time, those sweet memories with this tender intimacy and longing. The piano music in the background just added to the whole atmosphere and made me feel all warm inside. Major props to the director for creating something so pleasant – I really enjoyed it!
