What I love about this drama is that the fl has a deeper reason why she's chasing and wants to make friends with the ml. Very different from those fl chasing ml plots in cdrama because of admiration lol
Why is every scene filmed to look hazy/dream-like? It's overused so it doesn't add character and actually distracts…
It's because the director--Cattree has been using these hazy like cinematography in every dramas and even commercials that he produced and directed on. It's his trademark, so if you happen to see another drama with this kind of hazy-like edit or cinematography, it's probably directed and produced by Cattree!
I felt like I watched a theatrical play in a drama setting. Everyone has diverse character, their different stories, friendship and hardships made this drama really different from any other Chinese high school dramas. I cried a bucket of tears on this one, this drama stood out for me (out of all youth dramas I had watched). I want to hug them so bad through the screen, I wish I could.
Let me know if there will be a season 2 for this, or at least I want to see them as their adult versions who fulfilled their dreams (as seen on episode 16). I'm still sobbing rn.
Love how they came up with Linlin's character, not too girly, she can ride skateboard, make her own inventions, can sing and play guitar, english skills are on point and lastly she's not depending her life to anyone. Sabrina's acting (and her cute dimple) are commendable.
This is actually Liu Shiyun and Qian Chuan's second pairing in a drama together, the first one was in Love Crossed. I'm really rooting for them since they met here.
the last time I checked there are less than 1k comments here... it's finally getting the recognition from international viewers, so happy
