The second male lead is not good for Wan Mei either. Gong Zi has no genuine respect for Wan Wei and places ideals…
If to each their own, why did you write that she should do something with her eyebags just because YOU don't like them?

To hope is to want. What part of she doesn't have to have plastic surgery (for example) just because of you don't you understand?

Edit: Did you block me? LMAO.

I will use your logic again: If you didn't want answers, you wouldn't have written anything. If you don't like Li Yitong's eye bags, you would have ignored them. And so your opinion and mine would not exist.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you shouldn't express yourself. Read well what I wrote.

If we don't like the way an actor looks, we can write about it. But I don't understand why imply that they should submit to our preferences. If we don't like their faces, it's our problem, not theirs. We can easily find actors that fit our standards of looks.

Your answer doesn't cover my points though. You've even offered me statistics on issues I didn't mention or ask.

Using your own logic, who are you to say that Li Yitong should fix her eyebags? Why don't you learn to respect how she looks? You're contradicting yourself, put your words in order. Lol.

There are folks who wish Gong Zi was Wan Mei's love interest, even though he is a red flag. In Chinese forums Wan Mei was criticized for not accepting him. Here too. There are users who do not care that men are harmful as long as they are attractive. I'm not a woman but it's disappointing.

If women themselves do not stop having negative bias against their own gender, I do not see hope in the new generations. Lol.

The second male lead is not good for Wan Mei either. Gong Zi has no genuine respect for Wan Wei and places ideals on her. He engages in harmful behaviors in seeking her love, even though he knows it will never be reciprocated. There is nothing healthy about it, and Wan Mei saw it (it's the opposite of what she wanted).

You don't like Li Yitong's eye bags? Fine. But why you act as she has to submit to your personal preferences exclusively?

I don't like Xu Kai's face, so I avoid his dramas. Because it's my problem that I don't like it, not his. He doesn't have to change for me, and I can search for actors whose faces I like. Easy.

Who understands the audience and their double standards regarding female characters? They dissect female characters in everything, but readily accept poorly written male characters. Lol.

Gong Zi is a grey character in my eyes; he's not good but he's not exactly an antagonist either - everything he…
Say it louder! There are dramas where the female characters have harmful love towards the male ones, and the audience finds it unpleasant, regardless of their beauty. But when it's a man being toxic over a woman, they approve of it (like the case of Wan Mei and Gong Zi).

It's because they have an unconscious bias against women, which I attribute to internal misogyny.
