I recommend binging this drama for anyone who didn’t start it yet, the 2 weeks pause had me almost dropping it, it’s really good, but I lost the rhythm, not really nice having to wait, it would be better if I could watch it all at once, I’m forcing myself to get into it again because I really liked it, so I don’t want to drop, but for those who are thinking about starting now, wait! The watching experience will certainly be better
If you liked White Christmas, you might not like this anyway, White Christmas is a 10/10 for me, but this was a solid 7.5/10, quite disappointing, but watchable if you have nothing better to do
The drama is ok, but up to now there’s no ‘genius’ to it, many things could’ve been avoided with little…
Now that I finished, the full opinion is the doctor is such a fool, an evil fool at it, his wife is a dick, I can’t think of anything worse you could do to a girl than what she did to her supposed best friend, that was the biggest dick move ever, all because of a rich handsome spoiled little brat that she was in love with for no damn reason other than that I guess, wow, I hate that couple and Yi Cong so much, poor Xiao Tong and poor Xin Yi, they didn’t deserve any of it all, and Hsiu Huang has to be the most annoyingly stupid character ever seen
The drama is ok, but up to now there’s no ‘genius’ to it, many things could’ve been avoided with little communication, the death of the policeman was simply stupid (like, he’s a policeman, he should know better than going to a pool alone without telling anyone about anything and not knowing who he was meeting), these type of actions repeatedly happening since the beginning of the series show how the script writers couldn’t think of anything better to keep the mystery till the end other than making his characters incapable of logical thinking, which is quite annoying, and it’s really slow paced, not exactly the plot, but the scenes are slow, I usually can’t read subtitles in 1.5x velocity, but in this drama 1.5x seems normal, as if it was 1.0x, so the scenes are weirdly slow for some reason I can’t seem to understand, but watching at 1.5x it’s fine
Edit: one other thing that I dislike about the drama is the quantity of times we have to rewatch the same damn scenes from the past
I love the leads so so much that it brought me out of my k drama hiatus. Side note: Am I the only one who doesn't…
I don’t always rate early, but sometimes I do, specially if it’s on-air, but since we can change it throughout the drama, I don’t really see a problem, it’s like a “up to now, it’s bad/great”
When it’s over, it’ll be definitive, but usually it gets definitive around ep 12, I don’t really care much about endings, unless it’s super bad
I saw many people saying Su Jin is a good villain, but I don’t really think so, her reason to be a villain is…
I dare say the drama is nice from ep 1 to ep 18, gets bad when Su Su is in heaven, gets good again in ep 26, and it’s starting to get bad again in ep 34 exactly because of Su Jin’s presence, when she’s not there, the drama is nice, when she is, it gets bad
I saw many people saying Su Jin is a good villain, but I don’t really think so, her reason to be a villain is so weak, her actions are out of proportion, she’s plain bad, and these actions will never get her to her objective, because Ye Hua despises her, good villains have a real objective, their actions make sense to the result, these actions could actually take them to their objective, sometimes we even get to root for them... with that said, I think Su Jin is boring, not really fun to watch, and I don’t really think she moves the story, the drama could be a lot shorter, because she’s not necessary and without her to do the useless things, the story could be done in 30 eps.
That's a really good point, I think you're right. I'd watch s2, but I wish EunHyuk was alive.
I think there’s a huge probability he’s alive because of the nose bleeding right before the building fell down, unless the script writers are trying to play with our feelings, but I hope he’s alive
Did that jelly monster (not the cool one, the one that entered the woman and the robber guy) enter Sang Wook in the end? I thought it was weird Sang Wook got a tank out of nowhere, but then I remembered the jelly fleeing with the tank... I think I need a season 2 asap
Is there a specific scene you're referring to? A general answer would be it all has to do with their golden core/cultivation/qi.…
WWX lost his golden core? Was it because he sent Jiang Cheng to BaoShan SanRen to ask to retrieve it as if he was WWX? I was a little confused in that part about what was that 'great price' he had to pay, but I didn't realise he had lost his golden core at that moment

I was thinking about the acqua monster scene, when they were in the boats, they were flying from boat to boat, then flying over the water when the water was pulling them down, and the scene when WuXian was thrown in the Burial Mound... But what you said makes sense, WuXian was injured at that moment, and usually they fall during fights
That was my first k-drama and I gave it a 10 back in the day hahahaha I’m pretty sure if I rewatched this I would give it a 5, maybe a 6, but that’s not gonna happen because I wanna keep my good memories of it, after all it’s my first drama and I’m grateful for what it brought me I’m also keeping my 10, don’t mind me, I wouldn’t recommend it nowadays anyway, but that’s how I rated there and that’s how it’s gonna stay now

Thank you, now it’s clearer for me, I was fooled together with JC hahaha
