Complain all you want but Let it be clear that GYJ, JSM, and LJW are bathing in the success of this dramas. It…
Agree w/ this. Took him this long for his endorsement to start releasing since AOS1 success. To sign a endorsement/Project it takes time, planning, & execution. LJW didn't have much endorsement so he is free to take any offer when presented to him. So AOS effect him most.

GYJ's seems to represent too many brands already... there's little things she can take now (makeup, facial care, clothing brand, jewelry, fashion house muse, Mask, nutrient supplement..ect.). Company gotta wait until her contract expires before they can get her. AOS will increase her asking price for sure. All that is waiting for his is her next project which will take time for her to decide.

JSM did attend "Roger Vivier Spinrg/Summer" collection, model for bags, and had magazine cover shoot. So she is not w/out success after AOS.

That's why I said "the endorsements and projects are coming their ways" not that they have come already.

"They would No matter what they acted in tbh" ... this is not true.

Idk, I get the memory loss and all, but still... Changing strong/warrior Naksu into girl that always pouts, falls…
Honesty, I despise the story arch that they made Naksu so needing of him...literally she'll kiss/sleep w/ anywhere.
**I mean I enjoy it because I love the chemistry between LJW and GYJ and I want to see it, but story wise it was it was in appropriate for Naksu's character. It shouldn't be to that extent. She may be memoryless and her souls may have fall for him w/out realizing ...but her soul was also an assassin who was a virgin. Having that first intimate love making is a scary thing. What would a memoryless person know to the extent she think that he would want to make love out in the open & she was willingly? This is just wrong writing for comedic reason.

Jang uk seemed almost unfazed by the discovery that Jin Bu Yeon was Naksu after all..... She was supposedly dead....…
OMG, did you just reference your "if" scenario to a fantasy drama like AOS? HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. So irrelevant.

1) your world doesn't know that Soul shifter exist
2) if you freaked out (need therapy, want to run away) because your current lover is the same as your ex, that means you have moved on, no longer loved that person, and/or ended the relationship on bad terms. *** Clearly not the case for JangUk.

Misogynistic is defined as a "strongly prejudiced against women."

There's more to it that's making you bitter, but "disgusting & Misogynistic" labelling? Now that's a first. I don't' agree with your choice of words, but I do agree that there's frustration.

There's a few LJW's fans who felt cheated & that he deserve better project w/ other writers. Then there's GYJ's(Naksu) fan who are still unsatisfied w/ her not returning to her own strong self like the OG Naksu. It's fair to say that there's argument to many sides of the story. Ultimately, this is not our story to tell and we are just the viewers.

"...We got married, but after that there were no more latent romantic interactions. They might as well be good…
Nothing of my comments prior indicate they don't love each other. Let me quote my previous message again if that is not clear to you:

" Their relationship at the end mirrors their relationship in Pt1 (more distant, no loving dovely, but cares deeply for each others well being). JangUk closes the series w/ "Stay close to me."

Basically, I'm saying we get the MD and Uk's relationship (from Pt1) back as they are back to their old self (JSM & LJW's type of chemistry). They thrive on adventures. So hence, no lovely dovely because memoryless JBY is no more.

Despite the confusion surrounding Buyeon/Naksu's ever-changing identity and why she was changing, the love story…
"...We got married, but after that there were no more latent romantic interactions. They might as well be good friends rather than star-crossed lovers who finally beat the odds to be together."

I'll love to have this discussion. I feel like after that 1year passed, it's clear both Naksu and JangUk's are becoming their own original personality from Part1. Naksu with her tough demeanor and strong will. While JangUk is back to his childish & stubbornness self. Literally, if OG Naksu (MD) and JangUk meet w/out the whole soul shift issue, I don't believe both would even like each other or be able stand each other.

So here we have them at the end of series, and both clearly already have loved each other and compromising ; although, Naksu doesn't hold back it seems. You see him getting tired of going up the tree w/ Naksu and him wanting her to start learning her mage power again. She refused in a careless manner and he response back w/ a smile on his face compromising. Their relationship at the end mirrors their relationship in Pt1 (more distant, no loving dovely, but cares deeply for each others well being). JangUk closes the series w/ "Stay close to me."

Why in the world did they replace Jung So Min, nothing against the new one, but JSM was absolutely perfect in…
Any actor is replaceable. To me JSM was not that perfect. Nobody is.

The romance between JSM and LJW was so dry in the later half of pt1 especially in ep20 from UK's proposal, to MD's being mad over the many fiancé he has, to her drank telling him "I very like you." Considering that MD's character has become softer and a somewhat changed woman by choosing love over her power, All of JSM's line delivery comes off stiff/dry/uninterest (in the romance department).

For example, in the following video @0:56, LJW and JSM were practicing how to delivery their scene and he suggest a more romantic gestures ... her giving her hands to him when he reach out, JSM refused saying it's out of character. The point is, even he knows and was trying to push for something more romantic.

So the finally scene we got was a emotionless back hugs w/ JSM being unhappy. Literally, this is their final romantic moment they gave us before the epic death scenes. I mean the drank pack on the lip was deliver in a forgettable manner too, from her serious/emotionless expression to his. She is suppose to be drink & all the more reason to give us a more loving gazes from him and her. But nope, their Chemistry just doesn't come off as two person who are in love.
(But the emotional level of their death was the only driving force in their chemistry).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puoOaJioBqI

The BEST thing they did was have GYJ return for Pt2 as the romance/chemistry is what drove the Pt2. Pt1 had the better story telling.

I was significantly less excited to see the last 2 episodes. It felt very melodramatic and predictable, and if…
Yea, this season has been underwhelm. I could understand him being the most powerful man and could easily beat the Fire Bird but I couldn't accept JangUk behavior towards the discovery/identity of Naksu in JBY.

According to his principle, Pt1, he would do any to save her as a soul shifter if he had the ice stone. Then came pt2, where he was devastated because he couldn't even save the one he love so he doesn't care for the world. However, he was give a 2nd chance and what did he do when he found out that the JBY is Naksu? He literally ignore her (technically went off on his own path) because if he accept it then he'll have to kill her. She had to blackmail him for him to spent the last few moments of her life w/ him (WTH!!!) . This was when they told her to take the icestone from him and she was like sure if he kill the last soul shifter (Naksu: "yea, over my dead body!"). Here, she proves to be the one that loves the most in this relationship. He just accept that she is just gonna vanish. There's no panic from him or even ask MasterLee if he could save her....NOTHING AT ALL FROM HIM (WTH!!!). When she actually vanish, I didn't even cry or feel anything from him because he didn't try to fight for her at all.
This season was all about their love and coming back together and yet for the above reason, they underwhelm what could have been a more emotional battle dramatic for JangUk as he tries to find a why to save her, but he didn't tried at all. In the end we didn't even get to see his reaction knowing that she still alive. If it wasn't about the romance as much then I wouldn't complain.

Getting JSM in was definitely pricey as it should cuz she's a veteran actress and ofc the sunk cost had increased…
You said it yourself, we don't know JSM's salary. I just didn't agree w/ this statement: "It definitely affected the budget cuz her salary is probably 5 to 10x to what rookie actress would get. It was 20 episodes drama so the cost must have been pretty steep." Before any production can make an offer, they already budget accordingly. Many actor's take pay cut too knowing that the role will diversified their resume and bring forth better opportunities in the future.

So far JSM has 2 back-to-back projects (that falls w/in her typical roles). I hope to see her w/ more diverse roles (more stronger) and more endorsement deals.

As for GYJ, she may be a new leading actress but she is not a newbies and w/ "Moving" coming up, she going to have a very good year in drama land. She's already the blue chip in endorsement deals that only A-listers get. She mentioned that the only endorsement she hasn't done is "car." They just trust that her face can sell their products. Her IG is full of all the brands she represent. It's evidences too, because even the latest Brand ranking for Dec-Jan2023, she falls right behind SHK and SHJ. LJW is at #9, but he recently scored 2 new endorsement deals. A year w/ an endorsement deal is worth almost as much as their drama salaries.

Agreed. I don't believe she would break the bank for AOS.

It's clear that they planned this series for all new actors (to cut down cost and used more towards production). JSM was asked to cover for the other actress because she's not that expensive & she can act. You may argue that she is a Veteran actor, but she has not had any significant defining role . Her IG is not full of ad she represent (she hardly has any). The amount of ads one has define one's popularity and their ability to sell/attract attention (result from the roles they play). This is not a degrading comments but a real assessments of her her status versus the popular actress.

I do hope that AOS gives her more ads, that's where the money is .

On other news: Go Yoon Jung and Lee Do Hyun might be returning to Sweet Home 3.
Awe, make it happen. Them leaving the series was a downgrade for the show.

It's likely not true, now that I think about it. Sweet home 2-3 are filming together, LDH is currently filming his new drama. GYJ seems to be free, so she might be?

JANG UK love any woman who live with him for few days, PLAYBOY StoryJang Uk live with Naksu and fall in love with…
Okay, I'll take that... if I live with him, he'll fall in love w/ me too (lol)

But it's not that simple as he has pushed away everybody (Friends; acquaintance ) from his life; otherwise that female doctor could have been married to him by your definition. He allowed BY to come into his life in order to following his supposed dead lover in hell/heaven; instead she healed him & he falls for her all over again. Nasku too has moved on and unconsciously loves him all over again.

Your standard of loving only 1 lady needs to change by the way. People move on all the time! Have you ever been in love before? Such a weird comment by the way. There's no one way to define Love.

JSM came late into production to replace the other actress; hence, with or w/out her, the story was not changing because of her.

coming from someone who had absolutely zero expectations going in to the 2nd season i do think they did a decent…
To me JSM, did a very good job as MD in terms of the comedic aspect and the emotional delivery. If GYJ were to play MD, the same can't be said.
On the other hand, GYJ is "Naksu." She came out the 1st ~10min as Naksu and left a lasting impression from her smooth athletics ability fighting to her fierce /careless look. She made us believe that she can kick all those mages' ass. JSM was passable at the end when she went wild but it's not the save level as GYJ's Naksu.
All in all, both actresses were hired for their respected roles because the producers see qualities in them that best represent the character at it's different stage. It's normal for audiences to become emotional attached to JSM, because she has 20ep to prove herself.
