really liked the FL reincarnation. Sassy, smart, stood up and turned the tables on those who wanted to bully her. Wish they had explored the ml needing her blood and there were no kisses. End was very short and unsatisfying as they married, but no skinship. Also alluded to fact that to get the antidote, the other prince needed to be poisoned and ml should sleep w/fl.
ZBX was really a support role here. NO KISSES. All about fl being reborn to get revenge on husband and his family. Which, she did. I kept waiting for more ZBX, sadly not even at the end. However, if you like a plot where the fl gets her revenge by setting traps for the villains, then, you might like it.
lots of intense moments between the leads, but only a couple of forced kisses. They don't end up together until the last few seconds and we only get a hug. Pretty costumes.
Sometimes you notice discrepancies in the time period. One here is that in one scene it's supposedly 1920, but another scene has ML offering FL a Marlboro cigarette from the iconic red and white flip top carton. Marlboro wasn't introduced as a brand until 1924. The red and white flip top came into being in the 1950s. Just FYI for others like me. :)
Ok, adding to this. Just saw another scene w/closeup of the branded box while both are smoking. Marlboro must have invested in this drama since advertising has been limited in the U. S. This is probably a way to reach not only U. S. consumers, but other countries globally since so many people now watch these vertical short dramas.
This one is pretty rough, but it did keep me on edge and waiting to see if the FL would stand up for herself. I especially wanted her to kick the ML. Multiple times. Sadly, that didn't happen.
It's so ridicules to say they look alike! ROTF. He even lifts the veil and thinks they are the same?? I may have to fast forward. A. Lot....
And what is the deal about her mom seducing anyone? Like the mean 2fl's mom is prettier than the fl's mom. I think they may all be sight impaired.... as well as brain.... ha!
mostly sweet how they realized they loved each other. Not a whole lot of chemistry. A few kiss/ls, but not any tension. It would have been creepy age wise, she was 13 when he took he in and he is probably about 10 years older, if it wasn't shown in the script that he wasn't around much during those 6 years. HE w/them in bed and him asking her to marry.
even though I love to watch Ye Hao Ran and his intense vibe and kisses/ls, this one still dragged for me. I really got tired of FL by the end and her damn crying. She was really selfish in the end as her actions of not talking to him 6 years ago and explaining caused him to further derail and end up in jail for 2 years. She never stopped to think about how he really felt for her and that her leaving would have a negative and not positive affect on him. Anyway, enjoyed the intensity of their first time since each had so many emotions bottled up. HE w/them back together, but grandmother did die.
only gave it a 7.5 because good kisses. ZBX not really in the first 43 minutes. Mostly about fl trying to be a good mom. Son so cute. Turns out, fl was originally from the book and was taken over by another woman who then pursued the 2ml and treated the son and husband so badly. Fl realizes this after 2fl pushes her and she hits her head. So, HE with the family reunited.
liked steamy kisses w/mc. Decided I didn't like ML's parents when they scolded fl/ml for kissing in the office and then decided I really didn't like them when the father slapped the fl based on accusations from scum 2fl. They had raised her and then didn't even believe or investigate. The 2ml was scum. It was a little pervy that ML liked fl when she was 10 and he was about 18 or 20? Parts became boring. HE w/mc having twins and everything is great w/his parents who never even showed regret or remorse for how they accused her.
PLOT: FL has been "adopted" into the family as a young child by the grandfather of a rich family after the murder of her parents. There's an older "brother" who is illegitimate as her protector until he goes abroad as a boy of about 12? Fast forward 15 years where the FL has been and is treated as a dog by the legitimate two sisters. Fl believes the suffering will be worth it to find out who killed her parents. FL and ML have some intense moments. The low lighting is not a favorite for me. I know the director was going for an edgy feel, but it also made it hard to see what was actually happening at times. And the pervert that wanted the FL as a child bride? Less talk, more stabbing...
Why did I watch this? I need to learn to bail instead of seeing it through. Ben Wang looks better in modern hairstyle, lol. Well, at least it's a reminder not to watch this theme again....
pretty much wish the ML had died and the FL had lived happily ever after with the ML's grandmother and baby. The FL was almost as irritating as the 2FL. Like, why stick around to be abused. Oh, right. Gotta be a “good” daughter to abusive parents. The ML's character was also irritating. I could have overlooked some of this if I had gotten good kisses from the MC. And the chemistry was kinda meh. I think I tortured myself by watching this....
it probably would have been a bit better if so much had not been edited out to make it shorter. Looks like they cut some kisses and missed whole episodes, like fl being pushed in front of a car and the ml saving her and going to the hospital. A couple of kisses left in. typical 2nd and 3 rd fls cause problems, ml's mom mean to her to begin with because of hidden identity. Disappointed because Wang Nan can kiss when given the right script, lol
This is really not a Season 2 to me. Basically all different characters and plot line. The 2ml is no way as handsome…
lots of kisses, passion and chemistry for MC. They made love often and had fun, lol. Loved her best friend owned an adult themed store and scene where they try on role playing flight attendant/captain clothing and she has a whip, ha. Didn't care that fl was stupid enough to believe green tea, but glad she got over it. LOVED Ml's mom and how she accepted FL. HE w/baby that we only hear about. They end the way they started, hands and lips all over each other.
