Didn't know what all to expect with this one. I liked it more than I thought I would. A bit different w/both FL and ML “traveling” back to ancient times where women rule and men are the concubines, etc.. The leads had been in a relationship years before causing the ML to have animosity towards the FL when she broke up with him. Naturally, due to noble sacrifice. So, misunderstandings in the “modern” world and to start with in the “ancient” one. FL has four husband concubines, including the ML. Of course, the FL wakes up in the body of the horrible “ancient” world character and has to redeem herself. Loved the modern dance moves FL teaches her 4 guys around the 1:47 mark. Not much chemistry in this one IMO. There was more between the guys with that dance, lol. But, it was enjoyable to me watching all their interactions. It was a bit confusing with the end and how the other three guys end up recognizing her and supporting her in modern times after the MC comes back. Like, is the ML still a rich actor if the 4th husband is now the lead actor the FL stars with? The end didn't show the MC together, but rather FL and 4th husband? Of course, it could also have been somewhat out of order by editing? At any rate, I downloaded because of Ye Hao Ran, who I really love to watch, and enjoyed it overall.

I watched because I love Ye Hao Ran. I was pleasantly surprised since I didn't know what to expect.

Liked the MC. Nice chemistry and a few steamy kisses and nice intimate scenes like him falling asleep on her. Liked the dance scene ML did at about the :50 mark. Liked the FL's half-sister and how she protected the FL. Mostly liked how FL set about changing fate. Liked how ML pursued FL, except for the crazy ml's “fiancee'” scenes. Liked how ML turned tables on his father and crazy scum half-brother. Nice twist at the end w/names. HE for MC. Karma for evil half-brother.

Triggers: OFF SCREEN RAPE of FL's half-sister near the end and attempted rape of FL by 2ml.

I watched for the MC as I like these two and I like them together.

Twisted and plot twists. Uncle turns out to be not only crazy, but an impostor. Keeps FL locked up for 5 years while nephew goes off to get educated and come back for revenge. FL survives and one of the first things the ML asks her is if she liked being his uncle's canary like she had a choice. ML also uses FL to get revenge on “uncle”, but FL wants to do it. Doesn't really make sense at times, like he killed his “love” based on his main wife setting her up. FL is smarter than that. Justice served. MC going to get married. FL reunited w/grandmother. Some steamy kisses.

Liked how ml pursued fl. He was clueless on having a relationship and accustomed to money and his name getting him whatever he wanted, so it was shocking to him to be denied. FL didn't admit her feelings for him until almost the end. I liked how this MC looked together and how they often looked at each other. But, I didn't think there was a lot of passion or intense chemistry shown here. The kisses were more pressed lips and slight moving. LMR certainly can do much better. However, I must say he's willing to take roles that imply more graphic sexual acts that you normally don't see in verticals. There's the standard bitch half-sister, mistress stepmom and scum dad for the FL. The ML has a half-brother who also happens to be a bone marrow match for the FL's half-brother. HE w/MC wedding and press kiss, lol.

I watched for both leads. I rated a bit higher just because I liked how he never gave up on her and how they often looked at one another.

boring and irritating for a CTK drama. Fake kisses coffin nail. FL was boring nice sister w/tears and "why doesn't anyone believe me?". Evil sister didn't even spare her bio mom. ML can't tell the fl was swapped on engagement day? Yeah, that's true love, lol. HE w/evil twin arrested, MC getting engaged and another fake kiss.

i like CTK, but he couldn't save this.

ML was upset to find FL was body doubling him, but he was already mostly hooked on her, lol. Subs were confusing at times leading for misinterpreting what was happening. Ex. The jade piece was supposed to be for the KING of perfume, but later it's her own piece left by her real mom? Or was it always just her personal piece and the first part was wrong? Lots must have been cut out, like what happened w/her adopted family. Why didn't the “grandmother” tell her sooner? A few steamy kisses, lots of agression by ML. FL was obviously in love w/him to allow him to treat her that way for the most part. Didn't like ml running around willing to marry whoever but her. HE w/fl reunited w/real family and ML proposing and finding out she was expecting.

I watched for the MC. Lots of time edited out of this one, so it's a bit choppy. some of the subtitles are confusing. As usual, for a "smart" FL, she did some "stupid" stuff, lol. ML was aggressive and domineering at times. And looked down on the FL but was willing to sleep with her, lol. Anyway, checked it off my ZBX to watch list.

Li He Yuan did a good job on this one. Hope he gets more main roles w/more kiss scenes. I think his MDL photo doesn't do him justice, but that's often the case, lol.

Yeah, I didn't like her character either. Yeah, I felt bad for 2ml, too. I kinda had the impression she did have some feelings for him, but not enough to overcome her flaws and his crazy, lol, at least not at that time.

Wow. Really intense CRAZY. So much not explained, but that could have been the subtitles. I liked so much about the portrayals of the characters by the leads. Not sure where I stand on the end. I can see it both ways depending on how my mood strikes me. Definitely one I'll save for a rewatch later.

super cute and sweet rebirth/romance/youth genre. Really liked the visuals of this MC and how they interacted. Not a lot of angst to me, but rather youth problems of bullying and rumors and then fl's dad's issues. Some plot holes and missing information you have to figure out, like what's the deal w/her dad when his mom is her grandmother and a Chinese med doctor? Liked how they fell in love and how each protected the other. Overall, a really good watch. Only 1 side cheek kiss at very end. Earlier, a “kiss” to the lips w/ml's finger in between. Most likely due to age of ML's real age of 18 vs FL's real age of 24 at time of airing. HE w/graduation and planning for future together.
