The GOAT
I was born too late to witness the first man on the moon, born too early to witness life on Mars, but idgaf because I was alive to witness the 21st century Romeo and Juliet BANGER of a classic.Crash Landing on You is where it all started. This addiction to kdramas. The reason Netflix started pouring money into the drama business. The acting - peak. The OST - peak. The storyline - fucking peak. The show was so good they just had to get married to seal the deal. BBQ chicken is all around Los Angeles now, and this show is probably the catalyst for it.
I made the pilgrimage every year to this show, and every time I watch it is like watching it for the first time. I laugh, I cry, I feel, I try. Easy 100/10

IU is my queen
An interesting kdrama consisting of the supernatural and the afterlife, with a touch of reincarnation lore. What may seem like a fantastical kdrama delves into more of the human side of mortality, exploring various storylines of people who have passed and require more than death to help their souls rest. IU is as beautiful as ever, and does her role justice as the owner of this purgatory hotel. Was this review helpful to you?

Masterclass in storytelling, all in 10 episodes
Wonderful storytelling and layered character development through episodes of pain, suffering, and a reflection of the human condition. A unique cast consisting of a deadbeat uncle, an autistic teen, and his school friend run a business of cleaning after people who have passed. Each episode tells a story through the person's belongings and environment, with each item building up the person's character and past, often times finding little things that explained certain quirks in their lives. Their is no supernatural element, yet in a sense these people seem to be able to pass peacefully with the way the show portrays their belongings being packed and stored respectfully. These episodes help the main characters themselves grow by allowing them to see the human condition from different perspectives and reflect in their own mortality, and in what felt like a short 10 episodes, made me feel like I grew as a person. Highly recommend. Was this review helpful to you?

Fun Watch, dont expect Scorsese level scriptwriting
Not the most profound storyline or character development, but super entertaining and fun. This is a kdrama that you will enjoy if you don't take it too seriously. Seojun killed his role and I'm pretty sure he had a pretty sizable fanbase at the end of this drama. (I'm still a fan of Suho tho) He deserves better :(Was this review helpful to you?

Beautifully Written Kdrama
Beautifully written story that seemingly starts off as your typical romance drama, and slowly reveals a historical retelling of a tragedy in Korea's past. Two separate storylines gradually start to seep into each other, until a major event causes the eventual collision of the two major plotlines. The actors killed their roles and captivated me from beginning to end. Truly a wonderful love story that you don't want to skip. Recommended. Was this review helpful to you?

An OK Kdrama...
Solid kdrama. The supernatural/power parts of the kdrama were built up and explained well in the end, and it made sense in the context of the culture. I liked the characters except Seo Ha, the guy has like 2 emotions and is also the worst decision maker. Why they would make him director of a hotel is beyond reason besides being a nepo baby. I wish they would have explored the other lives more in depth. I cannot believe they shot obscure no context scenes of her life in WWII Korea, full with likeable characters and absolutely stunning settings, only to see like 3 or 4 second snippets during her flashback. Why was he playing the guitar? What was the story? Exploring the stories of the different lives would have added so much flavor to the story. Was this review helpful to you?
