No, this is just jealousy and possessiveness. If he really was starting to love her he wouldn't keep deceiving…
So funny, right:) No one needs to worry, the drama will have a cliché ending: ML is punished and FL is strong and happy. Don't forget - this is fiction and in fiction, the coffee machines have a much more important meaning:)))
a love that suddenly appeared after 20+ year when another "man" showed interest in her ?that's simply possessiveness…
I think "a love that suddenly appeared" is a result of the changes in Dr. Cha. She is a different person - her appearance is different, her behavior is different, etc. ML is falling in love with Dr. Cha, not his "old" wife. The plot would probably go in the straightforward direction: FL is leaving ML, proving that she is an independent strong woman. This is expected. But it would be nice if the outcome would be more complex.

I see your point but I've happened to disagree. "jealous and possessive" person would not get up early in the morning after a night of heavy drinking to bring his wife a coffee machine. It comes from care. And care usually comes from love:)
That’s interesting! Do you then foresee them being together at the end? The ML is literally, “you don’t…
It's hard to tell, because FL is heartbroken and rightfully so. But for the ML is a different life cycle, it's a different state of mind when you love someone or you don't . And I don't think he didn't appreciate her, he didn't even pay attention to her. She was a house helper, that's it. But now, he sees her as a different person, and he is just in love.
Reading all the comments, I feel like I am watching a different drama. This is how I see it: The ML and FL got married because she got pregnant, it was no love, just following traditions and trying not to lose the face. ML was in love with his girlfriend and when she resurfaced, he thought that finally, he is in the right place with the right person. FL (Doctor Cha) diligently played the role of the good housewife for many years, till the moment she realized that her husband doesn't give a damn about her (liver transplant). That's when she started working as a medical intern and it changed the whole dynamic between her and her husband. In the beginning, he wanted her gone, then he was uncomfortable with her getting attention from another doctor and finally, he was falling in love with her. First time in his life: the way he looks at her when they sat together at the restaurant when he brought a coffee machine to her dorm, how he is worried about her eating routing....this is just love...Life is unpredictable and love can come without knocking.
I think it describes her illness (she lost the diary before discovering the wrong diagnosis). Now, he would probably ask her to marry him to make the rest of her life more comfortable. And.... after they are married he would learn that this is a misdiagnosis ...
