Sometimes a break up can take time, for different reasons. It seems that in Korean culture, dating and dating with the intention of marrying are different things. She was not only bored, but depleted of excitement and hope that things can turn out differently. Since it was first and foremost what one could call «emotional cheating» I could also argue that she and the ex were broken up emotionally and just going through the motions.

It took me MANY months to finish this. I wanted to drop it at first, but I kept coming back to it. I really hated the OST , I had to mute many scenes because of it😅 having said that, I have to give it some credit - every scene carried some sort of weight and nothing was random. Very angsty and draggy, but I challenged myself to finish it. Some scenes were really good, I especially loved the FL’s mom and her relationship with her daughters. The acting was very good, all of them were annoying at some point, but we all are, so that was very realistic 😃 I am relieved I finished it and I understand the mixed reviews.

This is exasperating!! We are half way into episode 30 and they are wasting screen time with that cringe dance performance while out couple still hasn’t gotten together 😫😫😫😫

The tension whenever our main leads interact! Please, get those two together already, the chemistry is sizzling, a ticking time bomb. A couple that totally makes sense and so fun to see them growing closer together. But I wanna see them as a couple NOW!

I get what you are saying! They should have made her be abit more lovey dovey towards him. It is not realistic to have that guy next to you giving you the princess tratament and not be all over him. Especially since you know you might dissapear. Go all in, girl!

Positives about episodes 7-8:
The back story of In Ah and the 2ML explains in a way why he is so obsessed with her, she literally saved his life and gave him a reason to live.
The sisters visiting Ki Jun at the hospital with all the kids running around. It explains even more why he is the way he is. Upfront with his feelings but also the way he is pushing and not giving up, a skill needed when growing up with 3 sister with big personalities 😀 it also explains the sibling dynamic he has with Ah Jeong, he is used to living with girls.

The car scene where In Ah literally told him how she wants to be loved. I am glad he took the hint at the end of episode 8.

Dislikes: the stabbing and the angst. But I will take them if it means our office romance will finally come to fruition.
Please, writers! I need scenes of them sneaking around at the office.

He wants to know why she is pushing him because he senses she also likes him but she is holding back. So I guess if she would say you are not my type or I already have a man, he would back off. Plus, she has a lot of power in the company and could fire him immediately, so he isn’t a real danger for her. This girl knows how to draw boundaries. After hearing her story he understand her more and wants to show her he is there for her and isn’t scared of whatever comes (unlike like her father). He has confidence and has been spoiled with love his whole life so he is so eager to give a lot of love as well. I can relate to this at a personal level as a rather cold person myself who is together with a golden retriever. Maybe that’s why I don’t find him annoying 😃

I agree, when I saw him reaching for her hand it felt very out of character from what we have seen from him so far. I liked his character so far, such a shame if it goes down the obsessive route.

She doesn’t bother me either! I don’t know if the writers have some more serious plot for her other than to stir the pot, but I would love a nice maturing arc for her.

I thought it totally made sense why he likes her. When you start liking someone it can be very random. She is super beautiful, independent and roasts him on a daily basis. For a person like him who, as you mentioned, had a bright upbringing that could be exciting. And they got the hots for each other. He is young, bold and burning with passion. As a certified ice queen myself, I get InAh hesitation but I also don’t need a complex explanation from the ML, she is a baddie and has given him plenty of signals for him to grasp onto. Looking forward to next week! 🤩

Sometimes accepting love can be difficult when you don’t love yourself fully. I get where she is coming from and I can see she is barely resisting his charms.

I missed this feelings from a k-drama!

Episodes 5 and 6 were TOP NOTCH! I fell for the male lead these episodes: straight forward with his feelings, doesn’t play games, raised in an all women household, sleeps with a plushie, and his shoulders!!! The confesion by the ocean was one of the best scenes ever, so much chemistry between them! Please, writers, don’t ruin this drama! I have high hopes and I cant wait for next week!

Lovely series! The ML did a great job at portraying the different type of chemistries with the younger version and adult version of the FL. The brother and FL had great chemistry as well, if you have siblings you will relate 😆 so many touching moments! I loved how the FL, although sweet and bubbly normally, would become so fierce when defending the ML. So many things which could be said! Loved it and would recommend it 100% !

At this point I am basically watching this for Junior’s face, but I think I am done with it after seeing the preview for episode 7. Too much unnecessary angst and lack of proper communication.

I feel like Qin folded easily 😅 he let Duang cross over the line many times even with quiet «mhms» despite the fact that he acted like he was annoyed.
