I'm so pissed right now about the amount of bullshit told to characters...
How can Lee Son keep believing he's going to have a new arm? How can Go Reum believe to them after she was kidnapped from hospital and framed? I don't like tragedy in general, but idiotic deaths really pissed me off. I'm at ep 9 and right now this series really lost all charm to me. And remembering the first scene at ep 1, i don't think i'm going to like what's coming next at all.
I hope that whoever thought that sliding above that glass ceiling was a super cool action idea is going to shoot comedy next time. Together with who thought that giving strange glasses to a girl in front of some monitors was going to give us a super hi-tech vibe. Imho, what they're giving us so far is a bunch of crappy scenes pretenting they're actually good.
Just finished ep. 4 and that made me cry while i never do :° I really like the two Ban Ha Ni characters confront, self heal and grow... but i also need more Kim Young Kwang around :°
@Hermine Voltaire I don't like to talk about chemistry, i just think there are good scenes, stories and actors…
I really liked her so far, but now she's the same cold woman... but pregnant and then with a child. It's like her character is surprised about how fast things changed as we are and didn't had the time to adjust herself XD And the only change in him... is that he now smile like an idiot (but not for long XD). They were so cute, i would have loved to see some more "connecting" scenes a little more elaborate and intimate than the death of a lamb :|
This new mother... This stubborn-gullible to the point of stupidity detective...Is a colossal IDIOT. Why would…
@Hermine Voltaire I don't like to talk about chemistry, i just think there are good scenes, stories and actors and bad ones. Until episodes 7 I enjoyed every little contact these two lonely souls had, they were delicate but somehow sensual (and chaste but sensual it's not that easy, that's why picked my attention). I think all these scenes were really pretty. But with episode 8 after the kiss we have "normal life" but with poor complicity and intimacy because they had to skip it, they gave us just stupid bits and the general feeling is like something really forced. Even if this drama is not a romance, i was enjoying that and now i'm a little upset so i feel you somehow :|
As always, if there's a rom com with Kim Young Kwang in a nice suit I'm in! :D First two episodes are more centered around FL and her younger self, not much rom com here... I still enjoyed it even though the kid is quite annoying. but hey, teenager are usually like that and she being annoygin and selfcenterd in the past is the whole point, i guess. I wonder if this is going to touch arugment like self forgiveness and such. Not bad for now (but i hope they'll cut soon the comedy scenes because they're pretty lame...)
So much going on in this Comment section but lemme just say how happy and glad I am that they had their first…
Totally agree. And I really like how the show is actually talking about selfconfidence and trust. It may appear like a super light drama, and it actually is in many aspects, but there some deep layers i'm really enjoing like they're trying in a light way to look at beauty in uncommon way (like the beautiful FL's sister who acts like a typical alpha man :D )
Just finished. I feel like of all the many characters seen in this drama only a couple of them could be considered…
I'm not a fan of evil not being punished but somehow justified... While we can see Lee Jae Hwan suffer and repent, Sun Min Shik is never really ashamed of all the ugly things he did and at the end he obtains everything he want without consegues for his actions. Even if he joins hands with Na Yi Je, it's just for his own benefit, certainly not becuse he want to do any good. Na Yi Je also did some awful things and while I can accept a main character who's not a perfect hero, I didn't like his sadistic smile at the end and the fact that he also never falter while doing awful things. That's why others keep asking him if that was really justice: it was not. Anyway, i'm really curious about season 2, i really hope we'll see Sun Min Shik and Lee Jae Joon there.
Just finished. I feel like of all the many characters seen in this drama only a couple of them could be considered "honest" while all the others in a way or in an other were acting against law, were corrupted or just doing immoral things. This and the excess of injections to solve anything were the things i liked less... but overall it was very intriguing with a very good pace and some great actors, 7,5 for me :D
It seems that whenever I question the acting ability of an actress, I get a bunch of hateful comments, but I really…
I don't think i've seen other works from her but in this drama she was always so stiff... Those long, silent, still scenes she has with Lee Jae Joon were kinda akward. They tried to make us believe she has a good poker face (making us see her torturing her own hands while emotionless) but really just didn't work for me.
I think this is the first drama I've seen where the ML cry far more than the FL :D I would have loved the ML to be a little more "serious" i guess, but Kim Young Kwang being cute is always aaaaww. And KYK in a good suit is also always aaaaaaww. So, overall an average but cute drama for me: 6,5 "the things I do for KYK" 2
