There’s a lot to unpack here, and misunderstandings and miscommunication are likely. I’m already not seeing Shen Mo as a reliable narrator. Regardless, this is definitely going to be my next obsession.
Haha, this is a funny pet peeve, but the earrings on both ML leads are pissing me off. They are too distracting. It would make sense for Nie Chuan to have had his ears pierced, but Lin Yan’s character doesn’t seem like the type who would have their ears pierced. Other than that, this is pretty enjoyable and entertaining.
Seriously, is it too much to ask for Qingtian and Wenshu to have their happy ending? This situation just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. That scene with the grandma watching what I assume was the documentary he was featuring was just so dreadful and heartbreaking.
I knew Changyang was struggling, but even so, he was still managing things. How is he a 20-year-old?
I had a moment of déjà vu when Changyang was watching Qinglang’s livestream and thought of Ayden recently being on set watching Elio’s live stream, hahahaha.
MEH FUCKING MEH 🫤. Is anyone else feeling a lingering sadness? Especially Qinglang, it feels like he’s completely alone in his grief. It’s so painful. 😖 At this point I think I’ll just watch to finish the story. I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy it the way I did pre episode 13.
I just watched episode one and I love the dynamic and it’s overall entertaining. I’m not a fan of esports but they’ve managed to do it here in a way that works. I have a question about the bear head: is Bas going to wear it throughout the series? When does he reveal his face to Three?
In case anyone’s interested, Brother Guo (who also worked as Zelia’s assistant director) wrote a few words…
Reading this has brought me more tears than I expected even after I’ve already cried so much. Perhaps I’m not ready to accept this explanation yet so I’ll screenshot it and save it to read later. I understand impermanence and that nature is unforgiving, making us mere ants in its grand scheme. However, I refuse to believe that was the only way Qingtian could find peace. Not my bright boy Qingtian who endured so much 🩵😖
