I’ve rewatched episode 13 and I still don’t understand Qingtians’s death. Usually a character’s death should have significance but I can’t see why Qinglang’s brother had to die. What are they trying to achieve by killing him? Is this supposed to bring QL and CY closer? They’re already close so I don’t understand the point. I’m struggling to process this and if I don’t get proper closure in the next episode I’m going to riot and drop the show. I hate it when death is used as a plot device.
