Is it really good? Some of the reviews here made me delay starting it
I would say that "The Eclipse" is a good series. It has some flaws, but it certainly has so many more good things. I can understand why some people are giving it not that possitive reviews, it always depends on your personal taste and expectations. But if you read most of the reviews, most people liked it or loved it. This series is better than average! Give it a chance!
"The Eclipse" has been for me one of the best series of 2022 for me. After having seen so many series, it is sometimes difficult for me to connect with some of them, but this one has completely won me over. I think it will remain one of my top series for a long time.
I'm going to miss Akk and Ayan so much! Thanks to the whole cast for their wonderful work!

Low ratings make me sad too. For me, this series doesn't deserve it. But what can we do, we all have the right to an opinion. Actually, if you take an overal look at the reviews, most of them are pretty good :)
Hi guys! First of all, I apologize for my bad English hehehe
I just feel like some people are choosing sides between Akk and Ayan, and I just wanted to encourage everyone not going that way because none of the guys are acting in bad faith. They are simply two teenagers, in a difficult situation, trying to find the path they consider correct. They have simply met in the middle of this path, they have fallen in love and they still haven´t found the right approach that allows them to be together.
Let's not forget that this is a story of enemies to lovers, a serious one, not a simple school rivalry. Our guys are dealing with risky situations and that doesn't make things any easier. We all would like they could be happy together as fast as possible, but it makes sense to me, according to the complicated situation, that getting to that point is neither so easy nor so fast.
It is normal to sympathize more with one of the two, or to feel that one of them, or even both, are wrong with their behavior in some aspects. But, at the end of the day, they care about each other a lot and just want to protect each other. Ayan clearly expresses his concern for Akk to his mother. And Akk, by telling Ayan to leave the school, wants to protect him too. I think Akk is starting to suspect, because of Chadok's words and specially Namo's suspicious behavior, that real "accidents" are going to happen at school soon due to the effect of “the curse”, and this time it's not going to be under his control. Those “accidents” probably have Ayan as one of the main targets. So, it is normal he wants to see Ayan away from danger.
Honestly, I am also looking forward to seeing them happy and spending quality time together. I hope at some point we get there. I hope they can overcome all the problems they face together. It looks difficult! but I have the feeling we will get a happy ending. Or at least that is what I hope!
This episode 8 was intense! I personally liked it a lot in terms of plot development and also the two couples development. Khan and Thua are having a sweet and well-built story. I'm loving it!
Regarding Akk and Ayan, I don't even know where to start... their situation is so difficult... this episode made me feel many things. The confessions, the kiss, the whole scene at Akk's house was very intense and realistic. Of course, Akk is not ready to admit his feeling. But not only that. Ayan represents the possible destruction of everything he cares about and wants to protect. On the other hand, he is tremendously in love with Ayan, I can feel it! The tension and pressure are so big for him... it even makes him fall sick in this episode. It is terrible to see how cold he treated Ayan in the last part of the episode. But I think he did it trying to find the best situation for everyone, including Ayan. He wants to avoid the disaster that is about to come. But in the end, he always ends up giving in to Ayan again. Like when he helped him inspect Chadok's office.
I suffered a lot with Ayan in this episode. You can tell he cares so much about Akk... he understands him and gives him space. But he also worries he is losing him due to Chadok's influence... The scene with his mother was so heartbreaking... Khaotung is really doing an amazing job with his character. He makes me feel every one of his emotions.
Although Akk and Ayan have it so difficult, I feel their connection is strong as well. Luckily Ayan understands Akk and doesn't give up on him. He wants to save him from that hole where he is stuck. Although Akk can be frustrating and stubborn now, I think deep down he is not so blind. He can sees some things are wrong, but he doesn't know how to deal with the situation yet. Luckily, he has Ayan. I think soon we will see Akk little by little taking steps in the right direction.
Ahhh I needed to express my emotions. Although I suffered a bit with some parts of the episode, I must say that I loved it! All the actors are incredible and the story is very interesting. It's been a long time since I felt so hooked on a series :)
